Why is promiscuity encouraged?I actually think city density can increase (I live in one), and I think they're the best place to house humans. A few points: - Density outside of cities in suburban areas IMO makes the quality of life awful. Sit in your car in traffic for 45 minutes at rush hour just to get to a supermarket... yuck. I can walk in 15 minutes or less to three, or drive my car to any of the above, and park in less than 5 even at bad hours since the roads are built to handle local traffic density well (yeah freeway… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/03/22 01:34 AM
Why is promiscuity encouraged?I mean I'm certainly glad that we're projected to top out somewhere! But, I would say we're *already* overpopulated... That's my opinion. Shit seems pretty crowded around here :P We should let technology catch up, condense human activity, and try to return some of the planet to the other species we're sharing it with. I'd rather have fewer humans able to enjoy a more verdant planet than all of us crammed into a factory farmed wasteland. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/22 11:00 PM
Why is promiscuity encouraged?I'm sorry you feel pushed by society to do something you don't want to do... really society should push you to explore what makes you happy! If that is a single partner or no partner, then there is nothing wrong with that. Perhaps its a bit of a reaction against the traditionalist views that limit the ability to explore. Sex has traditionally been contained by religion as a way to generate and raise lots of children. The goal was not personal happiness but rather the generation of human resource… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/22 05:12 PM
What's your opinions on 40 year olds sleeping with 20 year olds?I agree with your sentiment about leave it better than you found it, but I think you go on to make some questionable assumptions and generalizations. - As a general rule, age gap relationships can and do last. You suggest all of these relationships go nowhere. - Many individuals mature at different rates. Individual to individual, a 20 year old can easily be as wise as another 40 year old. I think as a general rule, we should all take some responsibility for the long term mental health of anyone… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/02/22 11:10 PM

This conversation about male “ urges “ has to stop.I think you raise a great question... If one partner in a legally bound relationship doesn't want to have sex with the other, why should they be morally in the clear for wanting control the sexual activity of the other? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/02/22 10:43 PM
This conversation about male “ urges “ has to stop. Why does the "standard" marriage/relationship contract to love and support another human for life restrict them to also only having sex with that person? Perhaps we should destigmatize the desires of many humans to explore more than one partner. We have reached the point where sex with multiple partners can be conducted safely, without lasting physical consequence. Why should men (or women) be asked to defeat core biological urges to have sex with multiple partners? I think that we should be ask… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/02/22 09:33 PM
This conversation about male “ urges “ has to stop.Need is a strong word, but I think this misses the point. Unfortunately, we as a society have decided that sex work is a moral wrong, and we have passed laws against it. Personally, I think this is a travesty, and that society is wholly wrong on this. I hope that over time we will loosen both the legal restrictions on sex work, as well as the stigmatization around sex. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/02/22 09:25 PM
