She clearly had the ability to contact people who could help her. Waiting for their assistance is a small price to pay for her mistake. No need to step in here

I think this exists because women are more likely to appreciate the recognition. Men are often raised to idolize selfless and heroic natures and tend to care less about being congratulated (who has time for that?). It's philosophic in nature to care only about opinions that should be valued, not generic gestures resulting from a contrived holiday.

Now imagine the opposite why imagine? It exists.

A quick stroll over to trollxchromosome will show that misandry on reddit is at a much higher percentage of users than misogyny is. Not to be rude but this is not a very well considered statement. While misandry is obviously far more prevalent and potent there than misogyny is on any other single subreddit (that I am aware of- it appears theredpill may be similar, and 3x larger), you are talking about the misandry of one of a few, small, subreddits and attributing it to a substantive population …

Yes, there are isolated, generally female only, subreddits that perpetrate misandry but to say that misandry, in general, is a problem on this site, is stretching. However, there are often posts in generic subreddits like memes, jokes, funny etc. that contain the standard jokes that can be perceived as misogynistic such as jokes about gender roles, hatefulness towards apparent feminists and gender studies, sexualization etc. Mod power abuse, idiocy isn't at all isolated to gender issues but I mu…

Let's be honest, there are going to be more instances of misogyny on this site than misandry. That is the nature of a site used mostly by men. If men's rights/misandry are going to be considered seriously, we can't downplay or question entirely the existence of misogyny on this site when it can so easily be confirmed. That's why they say "What do you need proof for," because if your eyes had been open to see it, you probably would have several times over- not because it cannot be proved or that …

Exactly, the other factors makes the assertion not so cut and dry. For instance, men are less likely to accept or submit to a perceived unfairness - see men confronting their employers regarding wage increases.

Rather, mgtow is a more established group. Wgtow is probably not even on wikipedia, and like the other commenter said, I didnt even know it was a thing, so google just defaults to the largest source, the subreddit.for wikipedia's entry, it should be edited to be less assumptive and biased

People project their warped idea of success onto others all the time. In business, sex-life, home-life they make judgments on them according to typical societal expectations. That traditional, religious way of looking at things is slowly being moved aside. Congrats to your brother for being non-conformist

Hard to say if the intent was to belittle or be smug- the question is a common, thinly-veiled means of asking if someone is single without directly asking that question so it could be that they want to know if she is available to possibly date again. There are several ways to answer and I quite like her approach. The literal question is, "What is your title?" The implied question is, "Are you single or married?" Normally people just hand-over the requested information. As someone she likely does…

I can usually enjoy this sub as an egalitarian but I don't agree with the idea that she is dumb because she didn't say if she is a Miss or Mrs. At face value, she is being asked what she should be called and I agree with the idea that her scholastic pursuits are more defining than her relationship status. Also, if the person is an ex, there is likely a reason for that and she may not necessarily be obliged to divulge her relationship status- which I think is the major point, given she is at what…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
