In what took TBM 'weeks' to write, it can be summed up in "read the side bar"

1 gram per lb of lean body mass is a sweet spot. More won't hurt, less will.

I cringed seeing bands in that section. You need a barbell. That's it. These posts are cringey as fuck. They read desperate

Or anyone serious about this stuff can give up drinking for a few months until they learn how their body responds to insulin spikes and dietary changes... Then you'll know what damage a beer or two does to your progress.

Never heard of this, but its better advice than the idiots pushing a cut when you have nothing to show under the fat.

Lmao. Hard no. Build before you sculpt. Cutting when you have no muscle makes you just as unattractive when you're a fat p.o.s.

Came to say this. Observe and listen to how they talk or present themselves. Are they quick to coyly lure attention? Do they lead a leash without confidence? You can tell a lot by social media as well. Spend more time observing. This is a good question, but it is also a skill you need to have had 6 months ago.

(written in mobile, horrid format/spacing ahead) How do you get back up? How do you let something keep you down? How do you choose to suffer? Step one: Determine if you've landed at ground floor, or the basement if it's REALLY bad. Step two: Quit feeling sorry for yourself and get back on your feet. When you let a 'rough' day own you, there is a definitive moment when it becomes entirely yourself that is allowing it to persist. No one is coming to save you. Count to five and move, even if it see…

Figure your maintenance out first. Eat for that. Do NOT cut right away when you have nothing to cut to. Start lifting (strong lifts as was suggested) and eat your maintenance. You need to fuel your body with better food and fuel it adequately to keep your body building muscle. As you build more muscle, fat will shed. Especially at your newb gains position. Lift, eat and move athletically and your body will surprisingly look more athletic as time goes on.

Cutting out your body's preferred method of energy use when you have issues with fainting already seems less than productive. Cut back on carbs by all means, but take the time to get the rest of your diet dialed in before taking a crash course quick fix like keto. Get your macro nutrients balanced for your goals. Lifting > cardio. Its taken a lot of trial and error, but I've gone from a skinny fat of 140lbs to 190 lean after 3.5 years. Get more muscle on your frame first and it'll help burn the …

Carb cycling and keto are not ideal for anyone with a predispo to fainting. Watch your macros, watch your calories, eat whole foods that you make yourself. If you want to take control of your life and your body, start in the fucking kitchen.
