Just wanna say you rock and I agree with everything you’ve said 100%. I don’t know why some of these guys want to invalidate women so much

The article you linked states that when crime reduction efforts are implemented in black and white neighborhoods of similar socioeconomic status, the effects are the same. This means that crime rates depend on poverty levels, not on race. If race was the reason why black people commit more crime then we would’ve seen crime rates drop much more in the white neighborhoods than in the black neighborhoods

In the article you linked, it even mentions that a potential reason why more black people commit crimes is because they’re much more likely to live in poorer areas and poor areas, rega…

We know that black and white people commit crimes at the same rates but black people and neighborhoods are overpoliced which explains the overwhelming incarceration of people of color. Men on the other hand, commit far more crimes than women. Sure women tend to be given easier sentences but that doesn’t account for the entire discrepancy. Men are more violent, even in every days lives and research supports this

You’re the one making the claim, you provide the source.

Not all men, but enough. Instead of you all rallying to ensure crimes like this stop happening, you turn it into a pity party and claim this is a violation of your rights. This post has nothing to do with men’s rights and everything to do with attacking women’s needs

The thing is most of our world is anti feminist in one way or another. Feminists are up against a few thousand years of history. And fair enough. Your comments seemed to try to discredit feminism but I shouldn’t have assumed.

I mean, you’re in a sub that is anti feminism and advocating against feminism, maybe there’s a reason why paternity leave hasn’t been able to progress that far in a lot of countries.

I’m going to need a source in your last point because although there’s definitely a good percentage of women who push against feminism, they are not the majority from what I know. In both western and eastern countries, we are seeing more women entering the workforce but they still shoulder the domestic responsibilities of the home and family. Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/02/12/us/the-household-work-men-and-women-do-and-why.amp.html Even if men verbally encourage wome…

Of course many women desire those traits but what choice do they have if they’re expected to follow the traits of a traditional woman? A woman cannot stay home and have kids if she doesn’t have a man supporting her so it makes those traits in men desirable. I definitely think women have a huge role in perpetuating those stereotypes but it’s not usually women who are creating pushback when women try to leave the home and enter the workforce

Your definition of toxic masculinity stems from men’s desires. Most women who adopt what you call toxic femininity have those beliefs because they think it makes them “better women” due to men finding those traits desirable. Both toxic masculinity and toxic femininity center around men’s desires expectations for each gender.

I understand but sex is not a basic need, especially because it requires extreme vulnerability from another person. Of course we should be more empathetic to others but empathy does not equal giving someone what they want at a great personal sacrifice simply because the other is in need. A better approach is to pinpoint why so many men are struggling to find partners because the fact of the matter is, women want sex just as much as men do. The issue is that women are often bombarded with request…

Actually, I am owed all of those things because they’re necessary to my survival and well-being. Sex is not necessary to survival or wellbeing. Plenty of people live great lives without having sex

No one owes you sex. If you believe women owe you sex then you should also believe that any man who wants to have sex with you should be allowed to.

As a woman, I’ve mostly found that this sub is not a genuine space for advocacy about men’s needs but rather, a response to feminism and a place to discredit it. Most of the posts on here tend to center on creating outrage toward women rather than trying to generate a discussion on how to support other men. A post that consists of “look at what this one awful woman did to a man, this is why feminism is toxic and needs to die” isn’t doing anything to support men. It’s not thoughtful, it’s not res…

That’s the thing though, most women are more than ready to have a more egalitarian society. Half of society is participating in this change but men are not. Women cannot do it on their own. Most CEOs, politicians, and world leaders are men. They have the most power to change and yet they don’t do anything about it even though women are clamoring for support. Feminism is, at its core, about equality between men and women. The reason it is primarily about women is because women are primarily the d…

To say that women perpetuate the patriarchy just by being a part of it is so flawed because women do not have the choice to stop participating in it. It’s an inescapable system that bleeds into every facet of our society and it simply cannot be escaped, it can only be changed. Women absolutely perpetuate the patriarchy, however, they are not able to escape it without the assistance and support of men. Men could change the patriarchy on their own because they are the ones already in power but wom…

Oh got it, I’m wasting my time arguing with an incel who can’t handle being told that he’s wrong. Try reading an actual book that wasn’t written by a sex starved misogynist and you might actually learn a thing or two! Good luck deflecting any personal responsibility and pretending that women are causing all your problems!

Aw a misogynist, how cute! Women experience sexual violence at unbelievable rates, they’re paid less than male counterparts for the same job, they’re expected to hold a job and take care of household responsibilities and children while men are only expected to have a job, they’re shamed for using contraception, their pain is significantly more likely to be dismissed by doctors (did you know women die more from heart attacks because their symptoms are often misdiagnosed as anxiety or indigestion?…

““This isn’t meant to say that moms are ruining everything. It would be really interesting to see those biases, their beliefs, and how that reflects in their actual parenting styles.”— from the article above. This study didn’t show that women are telling their sons anything, just that these biases exist. If you think women are to blame for everything then just say that

Bold of you to assume I don’t speak up against injustices committed against men, especially those in my personal life. I fully acknowledge and agree with the injustice men experience on a daily basis but it 1. Does not compare to the injustice women face and 2. Women as a whole are not the ones who caused these injustices against men. Men did it to themselves and now they suffer because of it

Y’all realize true feminism tries to fight stuff like this? All true feminists know that telling boys and men to hide their emotions is awful and that it’s an aspect of the patriarchy that serves to harm both men and women

Lots of dudes have hair longer than this woman’s. Not unreasonable for her to walk into a barber shop for a haircut
