I agree with this. He already hinted to OP that he is not seeing her as a woman of his life, just a temporary person and would like to have someone else later on. Save some money, get home meals and pampering while spliting the costs, regular access to sex and move on once the urge for different woman arrives. I struggle to see value in such man from woman's perspective.

Not reasonable at all. According to that logic, 76 year old elderly men would be a good match with 45 year old woman. If to take average longevity in account, he will be long time gone and she would not be even near retirement. Not to menion all other issues.

People prefer many things on paper. Reality is different and more complex. Feeling, chemistry, attraction, location, general compatibility etc brings many corrections. Im not really understanding your point of view. Being chameleon is actually a desirable trait. It shows that person is capable of changing and able to adapt to new enviroments. It is actually a problem if someone can't do it. Lets take an example where person comes from poor village and works hard to become CEO of big company. Do you really think that this person needs to keep the same habits, manners, dressing style etc just to keep showing that they came from poverty?

Same goes for men, just the difference is that best years are a bit later. Majority of men look far less attractive once they are past middle age. As a psychiatrist, I would expect you to be more understanding and less judgemental. If someone ends up being your patient, it means they are not coping well which reflects also in their personal relationships, finances etc. Many of them are not upper middle class because they can barely care for themselves at basic level. You can't compare these women to the rest of your friends who don't suffer from mental health issues. Its like saying that man with hemiplegia sucks at running.
