Women who have miscarriages are much more likely to have another.

She’s clearly more upset that he thinks she’s stupid or ignorant enough to not know the difference.

I’m “a liberal” as well, but pray tell; do you know what the meaning of “alive,” is? Bacteria are alive. Funguses are alive. So are individual human cells. A zygote is absolutely, biologically alive. The oocytes don’t start forming for a few months into gestation, so yes, the woman is a few months older than her individual oocytes, as they form after her conception.

The woman has still be biologically “alive” that entire time. The oocytes don’t start forming until internal organs begin forming. Therefore, the eggs are younger than her existence. I’m pro-choice but it’s fairly obvious the immediate product of conception is alive. So are bacteria. So are individual human cells, even separated from the body, for a time. You’re confusing birth age with the actual time the singular woman has existed, which includes conception. Humans don’t just poof and appear a…

Except “lie back and think of England” was to make children for England. Also, I think you need to go back and read what I wrote; I’m basically agreeing with you. And they’re not married. The post was fairly recent.

I totally get what you’re saying, but the way you focused on her just lubing up and laying there sort of overshadowed everything else. Also, KY suuuucks. There are way better lubes. I also feel as though unless she’s on hormonal birth control or medications that drastically lower libido, she probably shouldn’t marry this guy— she obviously doesn’t want him sexually. Huge red flag. A couple should be trying to fuck ten times a day in excitement over this kind of event. I think she’s settling and …

This is probably a bit late, but for some women, sex HURTS if we aren’t aroused, lube or no. The muscles need to relax. I agree with putting in effort though— the effort to do what it takes to get aroused enough to have sex that doesn’t hurt. I’ve tried it before without doing that and it feels like rubbing salt into a rug burn. The vagina isn’t just an open hole fit for shoving things in at all times; even inserting tampons can be painful for most women.

I’m in no way defending fat people, but often times with marked weight gain some people will just let it keep going and compound the issue. Then, they don’t find out for a few years that they initially developed a thyroid issue but didn’t get it checked for whatever reason. I’d argue the thyroid problems more often develop first. I developed one myself but only gained five pounds and noticed I was incredibly tired. I went to the doctor straightaway, and now I take medication and restrict my calo…

Well, good luck with your goals! I’m very small bodied so my BMR is very low, making it easy for me, though I can maintain a low weight fairly easily as well if I just eat in moderation. Every body is different.

This is so subjective it’s preposterous. Many people can gain weight very easily.

This isn’t true. Thyroid issues often run in families and can be caused by a number of things. My own hypothyroidism developed when I was 23 and 112 lbs. My nephew was born at 3 lbs, 2 oz and had it as well. I have plenty of slender friends with thyroid problems and weight gain isn’t always a problem, since it’s fairly easy to medicate.

By the time you can detect the sex of a fetus, it's way too late for the abortion pills, big guy.

IUDs with prior pregnancies also fail. I really need you to find out where you heard that there's some big difference between users with prior pregnancies or not, because not since the late nineties has that even been a prevailing idea. Have you considered updating your rhetoric to fit current data? Doctors give IUDs to anyone who asks for one now, whereas it used to be very hard to get one as a single female. In Colorado, the program for teens and free birth control really puts a massive focus …

So if we just have baby rabies, why does every woman I know that has gotten accidentally pregnant from failed birth control get an abortion?

I’m not a white knight, but nice try. I’m a woman who got pregnant with a friggin’ perfectly placed IUD. And also with the nuvaring, which was used properly. It happens. I’m not saying this girl was using birth control responsibly but it’s not as effective as some people seem to think. But don’t take it from me; ask a doctor.

Eh, I know the wife now and I don't consider him a scummy guy. She told me herself that she threatened to lie and have him arrested if he didn't move out of their home, so he lived apart from her for over a year when he met me. She had already started sleeping around so he just thought it was time for him to move on. I think they're both very confused people and I don't understand how or why they've continued their shenanigans for so long. I was definitely displeased that I got dragged into the …

Oh, am I currently doing so? Or are you looking back through my history to five months ago and making the assumption that he is a) still married and b) we are dating still? If those are still happening, it's news to me. Also, now you're using the term "vow." A vow is simply "a solemn promise." Who's to say he didn't make a solemn promise to me? You keep using these terms and you clearly do not understand their meaning. The law does not need to be involved to make a vow. Even if the law is involv…

The term "covenant," simply means "agreement." That is literally the meaning of the word you have used. Anyone can enter in a covenant regardless of whether or not you do it in the eyes of the law or in front of many witnesses. Most couples, unless they expressly agree to be polyamorous or what have you, create a covenant when they enter into an agreement of boyfriend/girlfriend, boyfriend/boyfriend, etc., you get the picture. While there are some legalities that involve the term "covenant," it'…

I don't really understand where you're coming from when you say that's it's not cheating. People can have agreements as to what is or is not considered cheating and then not do that even if they aren't married. I know a few much older couples who have been together for forty years and never got married; they just don't see the importance, and yet sleeping with others wasn't allowed. You can have accountability and responsibility without getting the law involved. I genuinely don't understand what…

Doubtful. None of my friends are stupid enough to put up with garbage behaviors. I would really like to see some data that's helping you come to this conclusion. Living together has actually helped several people I know come to terms with the fact that they actually wouldn't be a good fit with the other person.

What are you talking about? Every single one of my friends, male and female, that have gotten married lived with their SO before marriage. It's the normally done thing now.

Idk about this for some people. My ex was a rock climber and he ate whatever he wanted all all times. Solid muscles and low body fat so you could see every line of them. It was so unfair!

Is it at all possible she was miffed about having to miss NYE with her boyfriend and feeling very bad for his situation, and also hungover and cold? I personally am not very talkative or personable when I have heavier things on my mind, or when I'm hungover. I also sleep over at friend's houses when there are parties sometimes because it's cheaper and generally safer. While the possibility does exist that she was cheating, of course, it seems as though you've already convicted her without consid…
