A lot of women who will find you attractive won't approach you. I mean it's the same with guys as well when we find women attractive.

I think what makes a man creepy is: Objectively Unattractive Socially Awkard/Unskilled Coming across as a sexual option aka pursuing women sexually instead of just being a platonic person. Rarely is someone going to find you creepy if you're just unattractive. If you're unattractive with your friend group, you're not creepy. If you're unattractive but not hitting on a woman, she'll talk and reciprocate. But she won't reciprocate feelings of attraction back most of the time. Some of the time, she…

when theres a lot of alleged victims it's definitely more understandable to lean that the perpetrator is guilty compared to one alleged victim. makes sense. but didn't all of tates cases get dropped for the sexual trafficking thing? if they all got dropped, that says something surely. I mean if you want to say that it's corrupt, why would they even indict him the first place?

the bear The biggest oppressor towards men or women are not men or women, it's nature itself. Violence is a part of nature, not just human nature. Human beings follow a hierarchy and when it comes to violence it makes sense to have men in the front lines. sad but how it is...

It's 100% true that most perpetrators of female victimization from a violence/sexual standpoint are by men. The interesting/horrifying part about this is that most of the victims know who the perpetrators are. Does that mean it would be a better choice to pick a random person that women don't know than someone [randomly] they do know?

I don't disagree with you. If 1% of men believed in that out of 100 million, that would mean that 1 million agree with that position and that is 1 million too much. Note that I'm just making an example. You're scared when guys approach some of the times I'm presuming (not all of the time?) I think there was a survey done that over 50% of guys in their 20s didn't approach a single lady in the past year or something. We're just telling you about our side, not to put yours down. <3

/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 07:33 PM

In at least one incel paper from William Costello, 30% of incels had some diagnosis of autism. But even he said that sexlessness can lead to quite poor mental health and poor mental health can look quite dark and nasty. If I have to paint a picture of which one comes first, sexlessness doesn't really add points to mental wellbeing. Knowing that you're an undesirable mate is one of the worst things you can experience, especially for longer periods of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 03:47 PM

What about attractive and masculine?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 05:44 AM

I enjoy having this conversation with you brother. To the extent this is true (and it is grossly exaggerated by red pillers), that still does not make red pillers the authority on what masculinity is, nor should anyone listen to what they claim. Even in 2024, Women Are Still Looking for a Protective Man. Women do like men who are attentive to them, but having the traits of protection and provisioning are quite important for women. Yes, and this is one of the principal criticisms of religion in g…

Being a target of misgynystic lyrics doesn't do anything? For men, driving fast in gta, or killing people on COD i can understand as a destresser. Listening to music about fucking up your opps, I can understand by getting anger out towards someone you don't like in your life, in a vicarious way. But what does a woman gain from being on the receiving end of lyrics that are damaging towards women?

Lots of men like watching incest, granny, underage and rape porn The only ones that I can say that happens on a large level is the whole step sis thing which is not incest since they're not related. But yes I'd say the majority of men do not watch the porn that you listed but most women do listen to hip/hop that contain misogyny. Lots of men enjoy violent video games Lots of men listen to gangster rap We know that these lyrics don't make guys do anything. But something even further that I believ…

Because they are not the arbiter of what a man is and enforcing harmful gender roles and stereotypes is, in fact, misandric. They don't have to be the arbiter, but most women prefer to be with masculine men and this is something that women are constantly saying (to be more feminine and that they love a guy with a more feminine side). In your worldview, would religion be bad since there are prescriptions of what men and women should strive to be/do? There is misogyny and homophobia across all med…

It's like the old saying: If you want to know about birds, don't ask a bird—ask an ornithologist. So you then must agree with the adage, "If you want to catch fish, don't ask a fish ask a fisherman" about not listening to women in the sexual marketplace of how to be successful, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 12:08 PM

I'm not necessarily talking about your points. I apologize if it's coming across that way. I'm talking about the prompt of who needs more effort to be happy. The common narrative is that guys are at default of the bad sides of relationships, hence happy wife happy life. I'm just asking (referencing the prompt) why are lesbian marriages more likely to end in divorce at 3x than gay marriages when the same sex marriages are almost 50-50 between lesbians and gays.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 11:21 AM
4

Then why do lesbian marriages end in 3x more than gay marriages? You would assume that lesbian marriages would have the lowest divorce rates, than heterosexual, then gay marriages getting divorced. It's literally the opposite.

How would TRP be misandric if they hate any man who steps out of line of what a man is? That is tribalism since they have love for their men, which by definition is the opposite is being misandrist. I'm also guessing that you don't like rap/hip-hop since there is misogyny and homophobia. Why is hip-hop so ubiquitous and favored by the people by metrics of artists and listening to the genre when it is rife with homophobia and misogyny? Can you give some examples of how feminists have helped men o…

That's why the deepest insult women can levy against a man is an evaluation of his sexual failures: he is a virgin, small dicked loser who can't make women orgasm. It makes you think, if the worst thing a man could be is this extreme level of sexual failure, then wouldn't the best thing a guy could be an extreme version of sexual success? The opposite is obviously a promiscuous big-dicked popular dude who makes women orgasm all the time. PREACH

It might appeal to the kinds of men who see woman as not really human in the first place, because then the leap from human woman to AI woman isn't that far. What makes wanting an AI girlfriend correlate to not seeing women as humans? Maybe the guy has been rejected or is unattractive to women and so this is his way out of getting some form of companionship even if it's AI generated.

Most guys play not to lose, aka innocent until proven guilty. What I mean is they presume a woman is wifey material unless proven otherwise. It is your responsibility to change this frame, to assum…

I believe it's around 60% online because of how they did the studies. If two people matched and made plans for a first date to be at a bar or restaurant, and then met irl at the bar or restaurant, technically they met online first but the researchers recorded the first meeting at a bar or restaurant. it is always, ALWAYS, better to have had and lost, then never to have had at all. This applies to everything in life, because even having had something for a short time gives you the most important resource that we all were put here on earth to obtain. Experience. University of South Australia researchers are calling for exercise to be a mainstay approach for managing depression as a new study shows that physical activity is 1.5 times more effective than counselling or the leading medications. Published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, the review is the most comprehensive to date, encompassing 97 reviews, 1039 trials and 128,119 participants. It shows that physical activity is extremely beneficial for improving symptoms of depression, anxiety, a…

The benefits of exercising for 5 minutes or going for a 20 minute walk are a lot more powerful than you think. Why is it that exercise is better at treating anxiety and depression than SSRI's and convential therapies? IDK but if there are replicatable studies about this then exercise should be the first green light. Literally walking helps significantly... Do we really have to coddle people to not do that little amounts of exercise?

Women mistake men's preference as men's standards, if you are not fat , have some attractive features (90% of women have at least one attractive feature between face, ass and tits) and have a great personality you won't find trouble attracting men. attractive men are the only ones who (rightfully) have much higher standards, so when women fail to get a reationship with them they blame it on the "unachievable beauty standards" and bash on average men Isn't this the fucking truth brother.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 11:54 PM

I didn't say that most men are getting consistent, enthusiastic sex. I'm saying that I agree with the claim that most men are getting inconsistent and unenthusiastic sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/24 01:53 PM

Do most men treat women like people? I'd say yes. Do most men get consent from women? I'd say yes. Would you say that most men get consistent, enthusiastic sex about a woman who is turned on by male sexuality? I'd say no. Interspersed here and there, but not consistently.

We want to feel desired. No, duty as a S.O. to hold your end of the bargain. Sometimes times will be tough and even though you should love your S.O., fulfilling your responsibilities has to happen and it's not always love. Love to a relationship is what motivation is to exercise. Sometimes you're going to have your bad days or bad times, but responsibilities must be met.

There is a movie called, 'The Social Dilemma' that does a great job talking about this. Arrange marrieges aren't anti love. You get married to someone you would potentially love in the long term by knowing them for a short period of time. Is it ideal? No, but how is marriage done in the west? We have love marriages all the time with people saying 'I do' but they're not happy in the long term, right. Instead of looking at this as which is 'better' I advice on which is less 'worse'.

Feminism has exaggerated Capitalism even more so since if you can add 1/2 of the population to higher degree work such as white collar jobs, education etc... then what do you expect? You can not have a society that is quite feministic with a considerable degree of capitalism. As you increase feminism you increase capitalism. That's how the game works.

If intimate murder is the largest source of murder for women, then shouldn't that mean that women should be more cautious about their man than a random male stranger? Logically it makes sense. But subconsciously, emotionally it doesn't since you know your SO, but the stranger by definition is someone you don't know giving it the sense of unfamiliarity. Crazy how the mind works.

If you’re smart, don’t drink much, stay out of fights, display a friendly personality, and have no criminal history – then you are the population most at risk of being miserable and alone. In this blogpost (from 2014), a Psychiatrist talked about how he knew several men (coming to therapy) who would beat their woman. He knew a guy named 'Henry' who had 4 ex-wives, beat most of them, would cheat on them and would find his next wife just like that. Also 'Henry' wasn't just 1 guy, he had multiple d…

I’m bi but I’ve only ever had casual sex/ONS with women. Interesting since I'd assume women tend to be more commitment-oriented than men. I mean there's a famous joke with lesbians. Question: What does a lesbian bring on a second date? Answer: A U-Haul.

Most people don’t know what MRA or TRP is. Most know what feminism is. Seems like it just casts a bigger net. The next Q you can ask is “why?” I believe because [most] people think men don’t need a movement/space since they don’t have issues. MRA is therefore unnecessary and TRP unethical since it is about “manipulating” women because if you as a man are struggling you must be bad/evil/misogynistic.

There are two sides to this coin. Women are terrified that their consent will forcibly be taken away. That is very understandable. Guys can be terrified as well. If guys are forced to penetrate (which is nonconsensual) by the perpetrator not many people are going to give him sympathy (including other men). Especially since if [in this case it's a woman] says you have to do it 'or else' you have to comply because she can go to the police and say that the man (who is the victim in this case) took …

Is it then fine to assume that we shouldn't be leaving our kids to female teachers since teachers who are women are more likely to grape the male students? No and that goes back into the gamma bias. Women being feminine is seen as more benevolent than men being masculine. People look at women more highly than men, it is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 11:59 PM

A small percentage of men taking advantage a bigger percentage of women. Are we using the apex fallacy here to target men in general? You do realize that men today are just as likely to be raped and a victim of DV compared to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/24 11:12 PM

That's one aspect of things, but remember just because you have kids doesn't mean you're in a healthy fulfilling relationship. Insert loveless relationships Insert divorced people Insert people who won't leave abusive relationships 20% of men are not fucking 80% of the women. But according to online dating apps, 20% of men get 80% of the right swipes. The 80/20 rule is about attraction (at least on the dating apps), not fucking. Good stuff though, I learned some stuff from your post. I also wond…

Maybe because of an image like this Also the same reason why guys are scared of creeping out girls instead of girls creeping out guys when it comes to approaches. Drinking lowers people's morals Shit I would believe it's the other way around. The less morals you have, the more you'll drink. Not saying that you can't have morals and drink, it's just that the people with the least amount of morals will probably get into an abundant most amount of issues hence drug issues.

While I originally came here to learn more about men and men’s dating issues; I’m now here just to watch the train wreck. Infamously known as "Enjoy the Decline". I really don’t think there’s any hope for men and women getting back together again. Not many people are currently happy with the current dating market. Logistics is important when it comes to dating. Logistics arguably come before even looks. Not saying that being a 10/10 in a small town is worse than a 1/10 in a big city. But logistics, you can't negotiate that. Moving to a bigger location, a bigger city will do better for your dating life, but remember as a man you still have to be shooting your shot.

I think lots of men nowadays just have unhealthy ideas about women I get confused with this statement. Often times women talk about how women in the past i.e. 20th century were oppressed for x, y, z reasons. But since you said 'nowadays' that implies that men had healthier ideas about women in the past i.e. in the 20th century. I think it's saying that if you were bullied, there is a positive predictor of how many partners you'll have. That doesn't meant you're slaying. For example, if that number is 3 (which is below average) then it positively predicts that the number is around 3 if you've been bullied. Ugly men are Ugly. Ugly women are Ugly. People aren't attracted to ugly people [on average]. The difference is that there a more 'Ugly Men' based on women's perceptions than there are 'Ugly Women' based on men. Alex from Playing With Fire, he's a guy who mostly leans on the PUA side of the manosphere and he's currently in a one-way open relationship. He talks about it in this video. He says that relationships don't have to be equal across the board and they can be hypocritical at times, but the only thing that matters are both parties in the relationship are on board with it.

Ask 100 men and 100 women that same question. I bet the ratio of answers will be 90/10 or 80/20 in favour of LOTR for men, and Harry Potter for women. Never really thought of this as I watched LOTR this Christmas. Cheers for your 2023, my 2023, and our 2023!

Incels need a huge dose of therapy. I was watching a video of a psychometrician and she actually found a report saying that incels do on average go to therapy (I believe 50% of the time from the 100+ sample size). On average therapy helps them less than 10% of the time. Here is the study go to page 13 and you'll see from the graph that only 6% of incels get help from psychotherapy (traditional therapy that people think about). The excerpt from the graph says, Incels are 2.5 times more likely tha…

I basically thing its very hard to change your situation as you get older haha I believe this 100%. As you get older, you get more stuck in your ways. And most of us will never get to heal our childhood problems, as they will compound and manifest them thousandfold in our adulthood. It's bleak, but the most beautiful story is to overcome adversity and relentlessly take action. However, we have become lazy and complacent over time.

Of course, but some of the take a long ass time to achieve (weight loss, muscle gain) and to renovate (wardrobe, proper hairstyle, which beard looks best on you). It can also cost quite a lot of money, but makeup can be quite expensive as well, depending on the brand.

I definitely agree. Guys can lose weight, build muscle, get contacts if they have glasses, revamp their wardrobe, add accessories (tattoos, piercing, jewelry, watches), have better grooming habits, improve their hygiene, wear insoles or have those platform shoes that increase their height, dental care, etc... This is all soft looksmaxxing, didn't even talk about hard looksmaxxing (surgery) Women tend to do a lot more of what I stated above except for losing weight and building muscle. Both sexes…

Only 20% of men alive today have an Adonis type physique of such extreme quality that they can get a barely legal supermodel to comp herself out within an hour after first time meeting her in a hotel lobby. Then you got to add the people who are underweight like anorexic, and skinny fat (who look skinny in clothes but fat without them. That 20% is a gross overestimate. It's more like 1-2% tops. …

Your mother does. Hence my whole point. I don't refer to my woman as my mother, sounds incesty. That’s on men. Stop pedestalizing women and putting so much stock on what they think of you. I meant they can. I believe there was some autocorrect there, meant to say men can raise each other's self-esteem like women can, but maybe in different ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/22 01:42 AM

And while close male friendships are undoubtedly critical, your bros aren’t going to give you unconditional love, take responsibility for building your self esteem, and make you their number one priority. Women love their men unconditionally? Men can't raise their bros self-esteem as much as women can. I do agree that couples prioritize each other more than their friends. However, this is true for both males and females.

Mothers as women don't realize how hard dating can be Especially when the topic is their sons. Most mothers have an unconditional love for their son and will love him no matter what. Every woman I know is with someone at the same level or “lower” than them in attractiveness. Most people say that when they see couples, the woman is more attractive more often than not. I believe this is because women wear makeup thousands of times more than men do. Makeup tends to enhance your features and it is currently a multibillion-dollar industry. By the time a woman is single and in her 30s she'll want commitment from a guy. This is because of the biological clock, but also conditioning and expectations. Her friend got engaged, her other friend got proposed and now she "needs" to get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 04:50 PM
3

I don't understand your statement. The comment above, and I believe you're referring to the second statement is that society tells men that your looks isn't that important. What I am saying is that they are, and when they find out about this revelation it hits them hard. Women aren't hit hard as much since this has been conditioned ever since she was a child.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 04:49 PM

If you are waiting too long, you will see that most quality women within your age group are already in relationships and don't break up that easily. Would a good way to delay or even overwrite this (up to a certain age) is to do the self-improvement so younger women are attracted to what you "bring to the table?"
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/22 03:44 PM
14

Society tells women that the only thing that men are interested in is looks. Society tells men that women are into your personality a lot more than looks. Since women are told this (first statement) since they were little girls they rarely are struck by this experience. Since men are never told about this (second statement), it hits them harder than being struck by lightning.

Also with the climate we currently live in, more and more people are becoming asocial, therefore making social circle harder to do. The best is to combine all 3, Cold Approach, OLD and Social Circle.

Having the ability to stomach rejection (which comes from a slow process of exposure therapy desensitizing you) with Cold Approach will beat social circle 9 times out of 10. Cold Approach and having a social circle will beat just a social circle, 10 times out of 10.

Why is it a big deal in USA than it is in Europe then? Simply because politics is like reality TV in America and abortion is a very political topic in USA?

Really? I thought the Europeans (at least Western Europe) were more lenient with their abortion laws than USA.

I've always felt uncomfortable being around women who are drinking when I don't drink. If a guy is approaching women when he's sober yet she's drinking/drunk is that acceptable?

This is something I'm learning about and this is the only reason why people should be on twitter. A beautiful thread by a wealthy, smart and successful engineer / investor. Have some type of equity in a business. Could be producing content like website, podcasting, twitch and / or YouTube. You could also make a piece of software and upload it to the internet and gain traction with it. MD's aren't as wealthy as people think they are, especially with the amount of debt + hours they work.

I believe men can perceive where they're at in the social hierarchy, it's just not as common. For example if he's in HS, it's who he's sitting with at the lunch table. If he's in Uni, it's his friend group. If he's 21+, it's when he steps into the club. It often times even happens when he goes to the gym, especially in the beginning.

Can you expand more on your comment? It seems very philosophical but I am not interpreting it 100% I believe. What do you mean by Being comfortable in the most uncomfortable scenarios. It used to be waiting for prey in the cold. Now it’s adapting to the cold, harsh reality that is this hell we have made for ourselves. A man’s war isn’t in the domains of business. It’s inside of the mind. and your last sentence Eventually the strong shall realize that is all one needs.

A guy who's a 30 year old virgin is most likely undesirable. The exception is Tim Tebow who was a 32 year old GigaChad (6'3 handsome muscular who played in the NFL as QB) virgin. Most 30 year old virgins are virgins not because they wanted to be, well at least here in USA. It's all about perception my guy.

I see what you mean bhai. Being together isn't going to be conducive, not because you're bad, but because she needs to just heal with her past traumas. Don't take it too hard on yourself, you're supposed to feel like this, especially since you had a lot of love for her buddy. Take it easy, rest well and know that these emotions will pass, hers and yours. Just cause ya'll not together anymore doesn't mean ya'll can't have a great relationship, individually. Keep up bud.

not too muscly Are you talking about naturally or with PED's? Also I've heard the testosterone drops because of lifestyle more than age. If a man is in his 50s he can still have high testosterone if he has a lean body fat %, lifts weights multiple times a week, has sex regularly, etc... It's more of the american / developed nations lifestyles that causes low testosterone.

Approaching women is one of the avenues when it comes to dating. The others simply aren't as reliable. Dating apps, workplace, school (but that's only for 4 years and that's if the man goes), church (but that's becoming less common), bars and clubs (but most men will not get any action there). How would you go about the dating market if you were to be 18-30 today?

I really like Albert Camus. His main point is basically that life is meaningless and that you should "rebel" against existence. Absurdism, Myth of Sisyphus. I got to get to this as a lot of incels, I've heard, relate to this instead of the antiderivative of absurdism, existentialism.

People will judge, you have no control over that. You don’t even have control over the emotions that come from that, however, you do have control over how you act upon that. Were you happier at a lower than higher weight?

But I think the trope that even unattractive women have men beating down their door is false. They will beat down your door on OLD. They will not beat down your door IRL. I didn’t have anyone in my peer groups interested in me. But also it’s not that pleasant to be eye candy either I can only understand this as I am currently losing weight (as a man). Losing a lot of weight can definitely warp the perception you have about others. Just like Mike Jones said, "Back then they didn't want me, now I'…

I'd say a guy who already does those 4 things you said isn't top 20%. He's already like a top 5-10%er. 70% is overweight + obese. The remaining 30% doesn't been lean, but includes skinny, skinnyfat, anorexic. Also just cause you got a nice body doesn't mean the individual dresses well or grooms. The man who does those 4 things is already a 5-10%er (if he's been doing those 4 things for 12-24 months consistently).

Is a woman going to reject a 5'11 guy from a 6' guy? Most likely not. When women say that they want a guy who's 6', they want a guy who's taller than them when she has heels on. 5'4 average height + heels makes her 5'7ish. 5'8 guy with shoes on makes him 5'9. less men applying to college make the chances of men in college even better for marriage, it only hinders the chances of women, just look at the link When there are more women than men, hookup scene is more common. When there are more men than women, traditional scene is more common. I don't understand how this would help with marriage, as it would do quite the opposite at college campuses.

That's not because of the way people met though, that's because of their age, people don't usually marry in their early 20s. Any relationship you get anywhere while you're 20 isn't as likely to lead to marriage. Agreed, unless it's a traditional sense which isn't the state of Western Civilization unless Mormons. This is why on first date you need to ignore her sexual appeal and focus on her. By ignoring that you will get it easier by focusing on her as a person even if you want it to be casual. It's not that complicated you need to push the right buttons. Fuckboys have been doing this for YEARS ! Can you go a little more indepth about this? I am having trouble understanding completely on what you "should" do on a first date.

Men can fail much worse than women as a group but we can succeed more too. I've heard of a saying. Many men will either drown or swim, however many woman will float.

Women's mating strategy is hypergamy (to date men at their level or above in socioeconomic status). The Pareto principle basically says that top 20% of men are having 80% of casual sex in the dating market. Also majority of men are unattractive to a woman's eyes on online dating. Essentially one of the tenants of the red pill is that women would rather share an alpha / high value man than be with a faithful beta / lower value man. Since many women are chasing the higher guys and being their FWB'…

Ehhh that's just a stereotype. I believe that's more of an apex fallacy because of the hyper-masculine stereotype of the black man. How many men are truly born fugly? The average man is born, well average. With the height of 5'9 - 5'10, with the average facial features if the man does the physical 5 that I labelled above in my previous comment and focuses on his social skills / game, is it possible for him to be a top 1-5% and be able to get as much pussy as the Chad? Has the average man who went through the gym and PUA phase now once become a Chad?

It seems like Chads are born where PUA's are made with your comment. Would you agree with that? tbf though, i actually had never considered a man’s height before i found this sub. Aren't you like 5'? 70% overweight or obese. The dudes who are the Staple 5 of the Physical Attraction: Lean Bodyfat Some muscle Good Hygiene Good Fitted Clothes Good Grooming Are quite rare. I wouldn't call that Alpha, but maybe that's why you hate Alpha's cause they don't seem welcoming to be around, in your definition. You dont have to be top 20% but you do need to show that you care about your looks - at least be in a normal BMI range, learn to dress well, get a nice haircut, take care of your beard if you have one... I agree with everything you said, but being in the top 20% (looks wise) is having a normal BMI, good outfit and good grooming. I didn't include height since you cannot change that.

Not big generalizations since I would say majority of men in their 20s and 30s are overweight/obese, rather than being at a healthy body weight and majority of men in their 20s and 30s have clear signs that they're balding, rather than not and having a full head of hair. The issue isn't that they date out more, the root issue is deeper than that. The deeper issue is they have the ability to date out (from your example of black and asian counterparts). Asian = feminine, docile, submissive. Good for bigger (not necessarily quality explicitly) pool of dating for women, not good for man. Therefore Asian woman can afford to date outside, not much Asian men. Black = masculine, dominant, aggressive. Good for bigger (not necessarily quality explicitly) pool of dating fo…

What if you're a confident person through going with the self-improvement journey. Realize that majority of people who go to park and drink, are not confident people, they use it as a numbing agent to not have those thoughts. Exactly. Sex is supposed to be fun, adventurous and enthusiastic. The 50 year old man leaving his wife and 3.75 kids for a much younger woman after 20-odd years of marriage is a cliche for a reason. How much younger are we talking about?
