Studies are percentages. What about the lesser percentages. It matters to them. And that's enough to be concerned for those lives

At some point, they'll learn you exist, not a guarantee that they'll want to learn about their DNA. If they ever wanted that and you weren't there, that could devastate them. Plus, you may not always feel this way either. Everything changes, and you could, too. possibly in their adult years. Accept the possible. I don't think you're being selfish... you are awesome at being honest about yourself.

As a father of two, it makes perfect sense. Typical results varying, The mom bonds the moment she learns she is pregnant and may have lost pregnancies before full term. She bonds in labor and breastfeeding. That can be a 2 year head start on bonding as compared to the dad. I can understand how much my 9yo means to mean, and I live for my son, but there is a growth of bond men have. It's beyond powerful. Under 6-18 months, it's loving and sweet. It's affectionate, but 3 years and up....it's reall…

I am rebuilding my businesses from the ground up and abnormally a highly productive. Dental and Dr's visits suffered in these last few years so I need to get back to self there. Basketball pickup was my 1st goto. I'm a former chef, so food is easy. Social connection is my biggest fail and gap in experience. I've got friends who I was alienated from, but I am organizing some dinner to get our children together. I used to blame them for their absence, but she was an ace isolationist. I'm focused on repairing those relationships. We had a family business, so I spent a month rebranding and developing a new platform to take on my own clients. There's just so much to do. Sere…

I also fear this. There is no indoor unsupervised safe place. I am setting up security in the common areas when I begin to let my guard down a year from now. I don't trust her. I gave her just enough ammo to place a false protection order against me. She ultimately had to drop it or face perjury charges.

I got a vasect after our second. We are a month into divorce, and I am going to be furious if that happens. I just have a bad feeling she'll need to manipulate the next man with a baby.

While entering divorce, i had other friends 3-4 past their own divorce. They and some of their new spouses talk frequently of self regret in how it could've gone differently or better. No matter what you know of yourself, you could've done it differently, but you don't know what's best, nor did she. Accept that. I'm trying to accept that today.

Your self care and depression could've been seeded from manipulation and control. I have been separated for 3 weeks now, in divorce proceedings. I had been honorable to a woman who was calculated on every narrative and misdeed for 18 years I started notating to myself a year ago because I wasn't myself. I had become a total Karen out in public and started losing interest in so many things I had enjoyed. This last year, I championed myself to focus on our conflicts, self-improvement, and lesser r…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
