That's a classic book on sales, from 1936. It shaped modern corporate culture. It's a little out of date, though.

You don't say what you've majored in, what sports, hobbies, or causes you like, etc. It's an election year, pick a candidate or cause you like and volunteer. You'll meet people, guaranteed.

I'm sure most people in pain are trying to heal or manage it - but that comes with its own issues (risk of opiate addiction, etc) The people in the cartoon look older, older people often have health issues involving pain, so I think it's relevant

What about people with chronic pain? Older people often look miserable because of it, nothing to do with their personalities

I don't really know but is this what you are actually interested in? I minored in philosophy in college and found that the arguments were interesting but 95% of it wasn't helpful for guiding my own personal decisions. Instead I try to focus on the quality of my relationships and to develop empathy skills. The most valuable books I've found in that regard are about psychology.

Well, surprise, your insults haven't brought me around to your point of view - If that is what you were hoping for.

You're acting as if two adults aren't involved. "Exploitation?" Really? I'd be cautious of diluting the meaning of that word. What we have here is a dick trying to do better by asking for some support on this forum. With your insults and condemnations, you're the one coming off as immature and unhelpful, tbh.

For myself, once I started communicating more honestly (which can still be hard), I found women that were more on my wavelength. I was happily surprised to find women that want sex but don't require full on commitment. These issues are challenging for everyone, but when you communicate more honestly you're more likely to find women that understand, and you don't have to feel guilty about the sex.

Uh I believe he's trying to work it out, and he's doing the best he can. Most people (men and women) struggle with these kinds of issues. Is everyone supposed to hide under a rock until they "fix themselves"? No, it happens by making an effort to do better the next time.

This kind of generalizing isn't helpful. Wouldn't you like to sleep with a famous model or actress? There's a kernel of truth in some RP stuff but it's blown out of proportion and distorted. (Kind of like any other polarizing ideology). In dating I've found that women really appreciate a normal conversation, where the guy doesn't have his head filled with insecurities, generalizations and frustration. If you look at the world in a self-defeating way it becomes self-fulfilling. Good women for you…

Mick Jagger was skinny, tall with big lips and ugly AF. But he could sing, so I would start there.

Art is life! Many women love creative types. Especially those that make art for a good cause. The art comes first. Don't worry about dating until you get that wired.

You're generalizing too much. There are all kinds of people and some will be shallow and others will be more holistic. Good looks from the gym help in the dating pool, but don't forget you can also go volunteer at a blood drive or other good cause and develop your strength of generosity, which is also attractive, and you are also likely to meet less shallow people at such events. Choose the balance that works for you.

In the first place, you're nearly average height (one inch below 5'9) and the average height of women is 5'4. There are millions of women out there that are height compatible with you. Think of the challenges that truly short men and women face. They have to develop strength of character to ignore discrimination and cheap talk. They have to work harder to find compatible mates. You worry about women saying horrible things. But you don't want to date someone that acts like that, right? Find kinde…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
