I'm sorry, I don't consider base level empathy allyship. Anyone can feel bad for a raped trans woman, and still call her a man at the end of the day. The problem here is how rape is defined (same as it always has been), but pointing that out, doesn't grant you the nuance of knowing what trans people go through. This article went through my feminist circles when it came out- maybe you need to switch echo chambers?

Affirming that trans women are actually men isn't trans rights. Implying that all trans people are male, isn't trans rights. Y'all are just gifting. I'd trust the doc that cut half my dick off at 5 hours old before trusting y'all.
