The idea of sex as a "resource" makes me shudder. Ideally (reiterating, ideally) sex should be something fun and fulfilling between two (or more!) people who want it because they enjoy it, not an economic transaction.

I like chatting with new people, there's no reason for me to assume that just because someone of the opposite gender is talking to me that they're necessarily coming on to me. If a guy is talking to me and hasn't made it clear his intentions are romantic/sexual, I don't bring up having a boyfriend (if I do) because it feels presumptuous. Just walk up to a girl and say "Hey, want to have sex?" and you're not going to get far. That's the equivalent of having that asked as a first message on OKCupid. The sexism doesn't just exist in-game though, it exists in face-to-face interaction and as a general attitude toward women in the community. I have seen T-shirts with derogatory slogans towards girls, too.
