401k contributions prior to the marriage shouldn’t be considered. Student loan debt is considered personal / non marital debt in Pa… Your 401k is pretax. Your piece of equity is post tax. Those are not equal dollars.

Any money you put into the home after the marriage was “you both put it into the home”. Once you said I do, everything from that point on is joint/together. If you owned the home prior to the marriage, you have some advantage, if you bought it after I’d, it doesn’t matter where the downpayment came from. I’m doing this right now. We started sleeping in separate rooms in September and in January I filed. I confirmed with the lawyer that like they can’t be any claims of infidelity and I met someone it drives her absolutely nuts and has caused her to be extra mean and pretty sure she’s salting the Earth with the kids because although the kids have never met my girlfriend I hear that they hate her.
