Getting over LVM betrayalThat has really helped, thank you! I’ve been through therapy for it and I was journaling during quarantine but I will start back again. I would rather have peace for sure. I started to block/delete people in that group on my social media, I don’t want to know anything to do with them and I don’t want them to know anything about me. I think that’s a good start, getting them out of my sight essentially. | /r/askFDS | 16/04/21 03:33 AM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayHe definitely was 🙃 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 27/06/20 02:15 AM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayYes but I am an emotionally based person and that’s inextricably linked to how I think about the world. I can try to be reasonable about it though. My sister is a lot like you though and is more rationally based. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 07:41 PM

Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayYes, I did tell him that afterwards, that I realized pushing myself and my heart aside so I could be physical with him without knowing it was safe was not very self-loving and definitely not an integrated decision. It’s better than it used to be where I would have sex with someone because they wanted me but then dissociate and let them do what they wanted to me. But it’s still not healthy. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 05:35 PM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayI felt so many pickme tendencies coming to the surface. And knowing there was someone else in the picture made me feel kind of competitive and want to be better than her for him so I definitely had a lot of “cool girl” stuff going on. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 05:33 PM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayAnd also he’s a virgin and knew I like sex so I think part of the stringing along was hoping I would help him get more experienced. You know, to use when he finds the person he really loves 🙄 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 05:30 PM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayI’ve already tried to address this when we’ve been talking since and said that if he does come back around he would have had to have really changed because he’s broken my heart twice and I can’t open myself up to that again. But that may even be too much wiggle room to let him have. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 05:28 PM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayIt’s so hard because at least right now I want a relationship, marriage, family so much. Anything that might lead to that makes me perk my ears up so to speak because I want that. But I’m sick of all these things not panning out. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 05:26 PM
Learning how to avoid crushes and distractions the hard wayFor the week or 2 we were hanging out I did always have a feeling in the back of my mind that something wasn’t right or it would have been easy for him to choose. I’ve been in a similar situation before and I chose the person I saw a future with and politely let the other person down. I didn’t try to do both. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/06/20 05:25 PM
Just broke up with my boyfriendThank you so much! I’ll try these out! A lot of them I was doing already but then trying to make time to see him and work around his schedule meant going to the gym got cut down to one night a week, etc. It’ll be nice to have some time to focus on it without have to work it around anyone besides me. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/04/20 10:04 AM
