Afaik marxism is about class warfare where proletariat must fight economic injustice. Current day feminism has its roots in promoting female privileges. As much as I agree with you and I do it pains me to point that this principle does not always work in real life. Actually it is one of the fundamental principles of a democratic judicial system and was conceived to counteract the natural tendency the people have to assume guilt until proven otherwise.
