It wasn't an intentional bitchslap =P I may or may not have been tipsy-posting last night. Came upon this subreddit and had a HOLY FUCK I AGREE WITH SO MUCH OF THIS moment. It was a buzzed Eureka! Edit: for what it's worth, as a teenager I was definitely far more extroverted but that has changed over the past 5 or so years.

I think I phrased that part poorly-- I mean that there's a way for the two sexes to collaborate and act in partnership without one or the other feel like they're truly "giving anything up"-- that finding the translation is the way that we can both be our best selves as partners.

I'm far more introverted than I would come across (at least online) and lean towards INTJ. I act a lot more extroverted when I'm around people that I've known for a while and am comfortable with, but beyond that am definitely very introverted.

OP here. I'm definitely far more introverted, and would call myself INTJ.

(Replying so I remember to come back to this later, I want to reply but doing so on my phone is frustrating)

My sister in law is very similar, she has always been much more of a single-focus kind of woman and thrives in it, but environments that require diffuse awareness tend to be very taxing for her. She's an aspiring astrophysicist and is very well suited for math/science based fields.

I'm not sure if it would make a huge overall difference, but if she decided to apologize to him and to myself for cheating on him and treating him like a peon I would be shocked. Grateful for the apology but shocked.

Fair enough. I shouldn't have made that assumption (my apologies for doing so).

He'd been burned before, and was taking no prisoners. I'm sorry that you have been hurt by something that you could not have controlled, but am also glad that he's become more of a prince than a frog for you :) My boyfriend was treated incredibly poorly by his ex-girlfriend, and thanks to her actions he was very suspicious and guarded around all women for a while. We still struggle with the aftereffects of what she did to him to this day and it's really frustrating to see and live with.

For what it's worth, the "what if there was a way to change all that..." was more of a hypothetical. Mostly because I have found a way that has helped me learn all of that, I'm just excited about this subreddit because thus far it looks like a lot of what TRP is about falls in line very closely with some stuff I've been doing in the past year or so. Emasculating men doesn't get ANYONE very far. Lobbing a guy's balls off throws him straight into flight-or-fight response mode, and makes an enemy o…

Honestly, I think it's a result of feminism (which in and of itself isn't a "bad" thing per-se) gone wayyyy out of control. Moved past the point of partnership and on to a quest to emasculate/diminish/belittle and control. IN THE INTEREST OF FULL DISCLOSURE, these ideas aren't straight-from-me. They're something that I've learned through taking a few courses over the past year and a half thanks to my MIL introducing me to them. I'd be happy to show people what I'm talking about if there's intere…

I would (generally) attribute this to a couple observations. Keep in mind that these are generalizations ONLY: Women tend to operate with a "diffuse awareness" mentality-- it's one that is well-suited to the 'gatherer' mindset, tribal communities and raising children (which would require an overall strong perception of the environment around them, not just what a child was doing at one specific time). I'll be sitting on Reddit reading and posting but also watching Game of Thrones at the same tim…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
