false equivalence: late night reddit phone grammar =/= day time corporate grammar

so then what differentiates the guys at the office who are charismatic enough to get ahead from the guys who grind all their lives but are constantly passed over

if only someone read the actual question that was posted on "how can one tell if their boss is the type to respect beta or alpha behavior", instead of posting a canned response that doesn't answer the question at all. oh, wait..

thanks, i'll remember to equate late night phone grammar on reddit with day time corporate communication skills from now on. I've forgotten how related those two things are.

People will judge a post primarily on its grammar rather than its content, without taking into consideration outside factors. Got it.

Fellow 5'5 manlet here and 30 years old and asian. Ive had multiple partners in the double digits and even multiple gfs before i even heard of TRP. In terms of height its sink or swim so u better get on that charisma game. This is what ive learned: fuck what people say about inner confidence. That only developes in 2 situations. 1 is if you're already the type of personality to see people's bullshit and go against the grain. The other is when you already have been swimming in outer confidence en…

Short guy game is different than average to tall guy game. Short guys have to be in an environment where theyre the top 20% of that group/room. It usually means having to be the craziest partier or the leader of ur cicle of friends, or in a room where most everyone else is awkward. Short guy game works by vetting the situation beforehand. It's also pretty much necessary for your circle of friends to be a mixed group, because that makes bringing in new females easier and thus you have a better ch…

Why do u feel uve earned a privilege that u happened to have been lucky enough to be born into?
/r/TheRedPill15/12/16 04:59 AM

exactly. you've been conditioned since childhood to assume people are inherently decent to everyone. they're not. only to the people who meet the borderline criteria of being attractive enough. it's depressing but freeing to realize

try being an asian guy about anywhere. people really don't understand that the hills other people have to climb are higher just to be seen at an equal level. contrast is king, sure, but a skinny awkward white guy can go to asia and get laid easily. no other race has that opportunity so i'm pointing out bullshit when people say white male privilege doesn't exist.

men 5'6 and under have to play the game differently. you're height does not afford you the range of situations where you'll be able to impress strangers so your goal is to be top 20% in your circle of friends. Make sure your circle of friends has a good even distribution of guys and girls, cause a mixed group is more inviting to newer people. From here, new girls who who are invited to parties and dinners with your circle of friends can see you being the top of the pecking order in your little t…

Trp is fucking hilarious in how much it tries to deny the existence of white male privilege and yet proceed to write posts like these. Dont get me wrong, trp has been immensely helpful but going to a country where ull get pussy just for the sake of being born white instead of working on building ur own smv wih weight training is fucking sad.

Ive been in a predicament where ive been both above the 80% and below 20% for extended periods of time. When you're bottom 20, you realize that no matter how much of a decent person u try to be, people will either ignore you, dismiss u, or outright find u repulsive/hate u. Its a real eye opening experience that teaches you that people for the most part are absolutely shitty. There are maybe a handful of decent people out there who will treat u with the respect and courtesy that they would give a…

to be fair a lot of men even in the TRP r bitter too, especially in the beginning. the difference between MGTOW and TRP members who eventually find acceptance is the fear that no matter what they do, they can never find happiness since they've been lied to and disappointed once too many times

yes and no. i agree with the sentiment of abundance mentality for many many things including women but having a core group of friends who will have your back and pick you up when you're truly in the shit is invaluable. For drinking pals, this is different but I personally believe every man should be part of a group of male friends they'd consider family. The ones where you don't have to talk every day but when shit hits the storm they'll go out of their way to help you out with a drop of a hat.

what is alpha besides a mindset that you can get what you want and you don't let it phase you if you don't? Unlike looks which work on a scale, the alpha mentality is one which you can choose to turn on and be deliberate about until it becomes natural. Does it take work to recondition your beta behaviors? of course but not impossible. we were all "natural" alphas when we were children until it was conditioned out of you by being told how to be a "good" boy.

Yeah u say that but there isn't a single person on this planet who wouldnt get offended by something. Like a straight white male would get pretty butt hurt from being called privilleged or a mysognist or a racist

Its funny cause white guys will say this and then throw every racist comment in the book when they see me out with a white girl, especially since a lotta white boys will go on about asian girls. Its being caught in a turd sandwich between "shutup and stop bitching" and "omg why is she dating an asian guy"

You're talking to a subreddit where a majority of men haven't gotten over the anger phase from being lied to theif whole lives. It takes time to get over it and some people never really make it to the other side. Im sorry but you won't find sympathetic ears here as they see this subreddit as a natural consequence of how things have been. When the pendulum swings too far the other way, things will change again

i'd say the majority of Tiger moms push their children but in harshly bluepill ways: don't go outside and play sports since you need to be practicing the violin/piano and studying math. If you can't be a successful doctor, there's no way you can find a wife for you to fully financially support. What op has is a woman who can think critically and not just regurgitate what asian culture says is best for their children.

this applies to all people but in the case of women, it comes down to two kinds of mentalities: the ones who accept how the world is, and the ones who are in deep denial. The ones who accept it usually work out, try to keep fit, and do what they can with what they have. The ones who deny reality eat whatever they want, don't give a shit about their looks and try convincing themselves and everyone around them that nothing's their fault

the fact that an asian mother would have the selflessness and perspective to instill this kind of behavior into her son is beyond amazing. Don't ever take that woman for granted because what you have there in terms of asian upbringing and, upbringing in general, is a statistical anomaly. And don't be too hard on yourself for your childhood, because it really does take a village to raise a child. Your parents are your main contributors but there's so much influence that they can't control once yo…

Yeah i agree with what you're saying. What I'm pointing out is that people take those biological truths and start mixing in their own biases and creating situations that are extreme while telling others that that's the norm. When people go on and on week after week about how their gf was an unfaithful hoe, this subreddit just becomes an echochamber of confirmation bias, and it distorts guys whove never even had a gf into believing that all girls will inevitably do the same

u know what, i actually take that back. Finding girls with strong father figures isnt rare, it's actually pretty common now that I think about it. But its the snobby entitled ones that always stand out. its just that negative people and experiences leaving more lasting impressions. I wouldnt be surprised if a lot of members, especially the new ones, subconsciously believed that if they do or say the wrong thing, they'll be accused or false rape cases. even if they don't do anything that's actual…

Great post. Just earlier i was thinking about how most people seek validation when they're starting out on their lifting journey. Of course who doesn't want a harem of girls around their arms? But once they reach that stage, they realize the attention isn't necessary. But nevertheless, it's important for people to figure it out for themselves as a natural stage of their growth

I've seen plenty of times when girls have been approached by muscular Chads only to have them be turned down cause they were genuinely emotionally invested in their boyfriends. Emotional bonding, if strong enough, usually outweighs immediately sexual gratification or even the thought of restarting a relationship. It's only after a prolonged period of time of complacency that women start considering branch swinging. Or the types of girls you're thinking about are insecure hoes with daddy issues. …

if that happens, i like to do the "waving like a 7 year old". you know when kids wave at someone they like or know, they do this big goofy wave in the air with a stupid ass grin attached to their faces? turns out this works with girls too. 1. they kind of question themselves as to whether they know u or not, like they already should. 2. it immediately makes the situation more comfortable because YOU feel comfortable. 3. and this one's the most important: because i find it hilarious. Even when th…

Looking forward to my own self improvement usually does it. Getting healthier, lifting more, studying or practicing to get better at something that i can show to the world. As much as people here like to equate validation as a terrible thing, everyone needs validation to some degree because we're by default social creatures. Other than that, teaching others in a skill ive learned once I feel ive reached a point where i am qualified to teach.

So far people here are stating that that's the case but ive had my fair share of female friends and gfs who were pretty philosophical and self motivated to discover new things without need for gratification . unsurprisingly, these girls came from conservative households with strong father figures. Thats rare these days

if girls rarely talk to you or give u attention, it means your smv is too low, period. Girls who think you are attractive will go out of their way to talk to you. Once you are already found attractive, then you shouldnt give her more attention than she gives u

Doesn't happen often but even the really buff guys some times lose their girls to skinny ass dudes who have other things going for them whether it be dark triad traits or whatever. Still, I wonder if ure 100% rp the entire time if a girl will some how manifest reasons to leave or branch swing

Loll mate, you ever been with an asian girl where her parents asked why the hell she's with a white guy? Its like that as an asian guy dating a white girl or a black girl or a hispanic girl. Ive dated multiple races and their friends have always fucking asked them that question or told them comments about how they should "do better". If you wanna talk about rp truths, one is that smv matters but so does race and saying people wont give you shit about your race is the same as pretending height ma…

Im guessing you're not asian because ive dated white girls before and people gave us constant shit for it. They always used to question my gf, "why r u dating an asian guy" "dont they have small dicks?" "why dont u date someone better". White people, especially white guys dont want white girls to date asians. Even if my smv is high, they just use as a reason to be even more jealous. If you're thinking, "why should their opinions matter"? Its because women are like sheep who follow the crowd and …

Exactly. Remember the rule of amoging, its the one who cares less who wins but that doesnt mean u shouldnt have something witty prepared. If u look at one of conor McGregors press conferences, someone interrupts him during his talk and calls him a leprechaun. Without giving a single fuck, he says "good one" and continues talking. That dude didnt have a single word to say afterwards.

I knew a guy like that, always dissing me whenever new girls were around to make himself look cool. I didn't have the balls back then to say anything but ull regret it later that u never did. Call him out. Say, "u didnt get laid last time u dissed me in front of those girls so stop trying" or something that cuts deep into his insecurity but in a joking manner

First of all good job on your success, a lot of members here wish they had found out this sub at ur age so ure off to a great start. U did hit the nail on the head with assuming that her shit talking her bf was a sign that she was into u. Remember: no girl will ever be direct about wanting to make a move on you because it removes them of plausible deniability and puts them at risk of being held accountable. They communicate through subtext and actions, so practice figuring woman language out. Th…

This was discussed in another thread before: basically men want to be with a woman who is a slut, but can never commit to her knowing that she wont have the loyalty of a good girl. The desire to be romantically involved with one person directly goes against being with someone who is as insatiable in bed as a slut would be. Similarly women want to be with a man who is capable of being ruthless and has many options because such a person would absolutely have traits of being able to survive, thus a…

You guys really do have to read the sidebar before replying because this is covered already - for women to speak their feelings dieectly towards a man is to rob her of all plausible deniability and therefore to put herself at risk for losing her social standings (and if this was caveman times, her life). They instead have to instead rely on covert communication through their actions. Dont listen to what they say, see what they do is the mantra. A guy should know never to give a girl more attenti…

I've been dating and hooking up with this girl for the past few weeks who is by all appearances, "out of my league". I'm 5'6, skinny fat (only 2 weeks in the gym after a year hiatus), and relatively broke. She, on the other hand is 5'7, slim with killer legs, and a car model who's considered good looking enough to have up to 4 shows booked a week on average. Not to mention she does (non sexual) live streaming to get money donations from thirsty guys. There's no possible way that a person who isn…
