I appreciate the skepticism, however we're not going to post the moderator mail conversation where they concocted this prank. If the mods wish to disclose anything more that would be their choice. I do believe that the mods did not expect this to garner as much attention as it has. The retraction was our suggestion, and while we are disappointed by these antics, we at least appreciate they are helping to clarify what actually happened.

Hey everyone. We received a few reports about "doxxing" in this subreddit today, and after investigating further we found that a few mods decided it would be a good idea to fabricate this entire thing. I see a few people concerned that /u/Mustaka's account has been compromised, but I can assure you that is not the case. While we did suspend a few moderators involved, we appreciate Mustaka making this retraction and we will be on the look out for any harassment of their team.

It was linked by SRS because it was linked here first. TwoX isn't your battlefield, please respect our community's sovereignty.

Looking at the domain history, the following accounts would be categorised as spammers using the 1:10 ratio rule: username human-stupidity.com total submissions percent rebecayadas 17 17 100 roweadjon 3 3 100 vianaebcas 5 6 83.33 ricaries 8 10 80.00 Human-Stupidity_com 48 75 64.00 curious67 76 130 58.46 MariaAntonia 16 41 39.02 marcos_de_santos 19 50 38.00 Looks like the admins already shadowbanned the account renanlao that frequently linked to that domain.

I will also add that there were no messages sent to our modmail from either of these accounts in the past 30 days. Furthermore, the article they "wrote" is less than 1% original content and over 99% copypasta from this page, which is what I would consider to be blogspam.

Hey, 2X mod here. Your post got caught by the spam filter but I have released it back into the queue. Since 2X isn't a reddit specifically for feminist content, keep in mind that it might get some downvotes due to some users seeing it as off-topic. Either way, thanks for using your real account and not a throw-away.

Hi kleptofridge, Sorry to hear you had a negative experience with some of the users in 2X. For what it is worth, in the thread that received 400 upvotes, the most upvoted comments were all calling the OP out for sexism and for making a low blow. There seems to have been a disconnect between the upvotes that the post received and the way the community reacted with their comments. If you want to avoid inciting reactionary behavior, you could remove the links back to 2X and replace them with quoted…

One thing that we (the mods) have done in 2XC is to discourage posting links to other subreddits. We've warned that any post doing so in a negative fashion may be removed, though removal is typically reserved for posts that start drama or downvote brigades (whether that is the OP's intention or not). Any time I see someone linking to another subreddit negatively, I am likely to remove that thread and let the user know why. Here's a recent example. Perhaps this subreddit could also discourage pos…

I just browsed through your comment and submission history and nothing you've posted in /r/TwoXChromosomes had been removed. Was this under a different account, or did you perhaps delete those comments?

I'm a mod at 2X and would like to look into this. Could you provide a link to your submission? edit: girlwriteswhat sent me the link via PM and it's been determined that the spam filter lagged behind and removed the submission after it sat visible in the new queue for a considerable amount of time. Here's a link to an admin commenting on how this can sometimes occur. I also searched around and found another user having related problems on the same day that girlwriteswhat's blog link was submitte…

That is /r/feminisms whereas 2XC is /r/TwoXChromosomes. They are different subreddits that are not moderated in the same way.

Can you send a screen capture of what happens when you attempt to comment there? You can reply to this comment as a test.

Your account isn't on the 2XC ban list and I've never seen any occurrence of a user being banned for comments made outside of that subreddit. If you can give me some examples of when this has happened, I'd be interested in giving those users a second look.

Money might not how esoran measures success. Perhaps he measures his success by the impact he has in shaping the young minds of tomorrow. To each their own.
