i'm a mid 30's "woman" and my parents divorced when I was 12 and it fucked me up and I need you guys so that I don't make the same mistakes she did. ty we were a stereotypical nuclear family except my mom was mentally ill, my father was a drunk and my 3 brothers and I were severely ADHD. I've been lurking here for a couple years and I've learned a lot. I know you are very angry, but.. take solace in the fact that there are ppl out there learning from you guys.

i'll gladly give you a hug if you promise not to make a weird noise, say "i'm touching your boobs" or try to fuck me later. 👍

if i ever became homeless it'd be pretty easy to just give up and become a sex object for a place to stay. the situation would still totally fucking suck. but maybe that's why 3/10 homeless are female. you just give up and fuck to survive.

some say that breast milk is crucial for a child's development and that formula isn't really a good replacement. but i'm too lazy to check. either way you gotta admit it is more natural. i suppose you could mass produce it somehow.. that'd create a lot of jobs

I agree that men can be great caretakers but as of right now it's the woman's role to take care of children in our society. Mothers are pretty popular. Did yours not do a good job? Regardless, women breastfeed children, and have a different kind of connection with children.

i feel uncomfortable if i'm not providing something. i've never even put myself in a position to be loved unconditionally. my boyfriend has lots of conditions. i call bullshit... but only bc that's not my experience. also if women didn't tend to the children we would be fucked as a society. as it is right now women are still the main caregivers. so there's a condition.

is the toilet normally not a safe place to sit? js that's what women are thinking probs

it might just happen occasionally, like in the middle of the night, but that's all it takes for resentment to fester.

bc it's not a mental check women do. a woman is never going to lift the toilet seat for herself, so she doesn't have the muscle memory to put it back down. she's very likely to sit without looking. sometimes it's on a cold bowl that has missed piss on it. and that shit is jarring

i had no idea that there were women that are hell bent on putting absolutely zero effort into a relationship. what's the point.

it sounds to me like she's both unattractive and socially awkward so she has a hard time making a connection. for those she HAS made a connection with, the longest of which has been only three months, they either turn out to want easy sex, or, just aren't interested at all. she's bored at home and fantasizing about spending an evening with a boyfriend that she's never had because she's an outcast and can't figure out why. i don't think she even believes she's pretty, she just acknowledges that o…

this was very insightful. i'm going to try to reference this thread to help my friend stop pining over a guy that's not interested in her. she's so caught up and has started rationalizing crazy shit, like, she wants to fuck him again so he doesn't think she was a "one night stand?" wtf? she wants his respect but she's already lost it. i wish i could help her but she finds an excuse for everything. she can't see that by already fucking this dude, she's lost her value. she honestly doesn't even wa…

and then when they're held accountable for their erratic actions, it feels like an attack.

that makes sense. it's a lot of accountability to think that you might be about to ruin someone's life.

maybe she thinks in her twisted up head that she can make it work and no one will get hurt.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
