Very true. Thank you for the suggestion! Edit: I used a TV show to bring it up to my bf. The episode featured a couple who got married after a few months so I started commenting that I wouldn't wait more than 2 years for a proposal. I recommend a TV show/movie if you have to bring up marriage casually!

What to do if you messed up and didn't mention a timeline when you first started dating (but did mention the first part about marriage) and now it's been over a year?

There are some smaller niche subs that are run by women (some are even private) but yeah the big subs are all basically run by men.

Great episode. I'm sorry if this is an unreasonable request but can you try to say "kinda thing" less often? It's a filler phrase but for me it's triggering. Long story short I had bad, drawn out experience with someone who said "type thing" every other sentence and it just makes me cringe.

I get and agree with your sentiment but I doubt most 21 year olds remember using myspace. Heck I'm 30 and it was on its way down by the time I finished high school. According to Google, 50% of its users left in 2010. It was most popular 2005-2008 (a current 21 year old would have been like 5-8 at the time). I barely remember dial up. That stopped being popular around 2007; again a 6 year old kid is kinda young to be using the internet at all. Edit: 9/11 was 20 years ago; a 1 year old certainly w…

The talk about female beauty/sexual selection led me to do a little more digging. It seems like beautiful parents tend to have more daughters than less attractive parents. It's really interesting. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-scientific-fundamentalist/201101/women-are-more-beautiful-men

My ex orgasmed during sex maybe twice the whole time I was with him and we had sex a decent amount in 2 years. He was pornsick and couldn't come unless he jerked off to porn.

Only if you're also subscribed to FDS! Back when TRP existed but FDS didn't, I was reading red pill stuff and it actually contributed to me becoming a pickme. It's only because of FDS that I eventually saw the light.

This could have been written by me. I'm 10 months free of my ex NVM and have never been happier. I don't miss him at all and in fact cringe that I got with him in the first place and stayed for almost two years. You are so, so much better off without him.

What if he looks at porn briefly for ideas, or to get turned on before sex but doesn't jerk off to it?

Sure! For my recurrent yeast infections which started after a course of antibiotics for a UTI, I was looking for a more natural option compared to antifungals like monistat (which works but I'm thinking it can't be good to use consistently). So I came across boric acid suppositories, which are effective for treating and prevent yeast infections. You put them in your vagina (but don't swallow them because they're toxic if ingested). They come in capsules and you can get them on Amazon or Love Wel…

Thanks, I'll check that book out. Lately NC has been giving me red days 9-14 days before ovulation, but I thought it was accounting for cycles where I ovulated earlier. Good to know that sperm can live up to a week! Whenever I've googled it, it says 5 days max.

That's cool, I didn't know that pencil and paper can be more accurate. Generally I find that its predictions are pretty conservative (red days at least 5 days before and 2-3 days after ovulation). Whenever I've checked my cervical position it's always low on my green days. My vaginal secretions are less dependable since I'm frequently using boric acid suppositories (otherwise I'm prone to yeast infections).

For anyone interested in this method, the app Natural Cycles makes it a lot easier to track fertility. (It's subscription based and on the pricy side though.) Along with my Oura ring which measures body temperature overnight, it doesn't take much time or dedication at all to know my fertility status. I get about 15 green days per cycle and the rest of the time I use condoms with my bf.

How long does an AskFDS post typically take to be approved? It's been 24 hours since I submitted my question. I don't think it breaks any rules. I don't want to bother the mods yet so thought I'd ask here.

I see on FDS both that marriage doesn't benefit women, and not to live with a bf before marriage/leave if he doesn't propose within x amount of time. If marriage is not beneficial, why is that the goal?

Not saying you should give this guy a chance, but I recently met up with a guy for a supposed park date (bc covid), and turns out he had been planning to doordash food there all along! It ended up being from a nice restaurant too :)

Thanks, I needed to hear this. My ex possibly has BPD and maybe was a tad bit emotionally abusive at times, but I don't know if I can go as far as saying my love for him is due to trauma bonding. Still, he is a LVM and it helps to realize that love isn't real. It's just chemicals.

So porn is bad obviously. But what about looking at nudes/pornographic photos/video that girls willingly post of themselves? Like on gonewild or onlyfans. I don't think I'd be comfortable dating someone who does this but is there a good argument against it?

A little off topic, but, those of you who support Trump, what do you think of how he conducts himself? He seems to make a fool out of himself everyday. I get that this may not be his real persona, just what he shows to the public, but it boggles my mind that people still like him. I don't think his political stance is all that bad but he certainly does not act like a president. I am asking because it seems like some prominent users here support him and I'm wondering if they are just overlooking …

No amount of vegetables will overdose you in vitamin A. Only animal products like liver/cod liver oil will. Edit: beta carotene supplements (not from whole food sources) may be harmful in large amounts but they will not cause vitamin A toxicity.

I went through a phase where all my carbs came from kabocha squash. I turned orange. Unfortunately neither my family nor I thought it looked good, as it made me look sallow. A carotene "tan" might look good on caucasians (who generally have pink undertones), but for someone already on the yellow side, imo too much beta carotene looks bad.

Sorry for the late reply. I realize that by positive sarcasm I really mean irony, if that makes sense. I had to look up sarcasm to understand that it is specifically meant to hurt someone. Some (lame) ironic phrases I can of: (Eating something delicious) "This is the best thing I've ever tasted! After blood pudding, of course." (Person says something really witty). You reply "Get out!" or "That's enough out of you!"

I see what you're saying and it makes sense. But I think being interesting/knowing how to talk to people helps with making friends and being successful in general so I kinda want to get there and stay. I understand that it's hard, though.

Hey, thank you! This comment is super helpful. I will definitely pick up some bathroom reader books, haha. I understand that a woman's role is to be light, fun, and nurturing, but that comes after a relationship has been established. I have to keep his interest first. I think my insecurity is stemming from dating a guy who didn't seem to want to commit to me but then later ended up in a full-blown long-term relationship, complete with couple-y FB profile pictures (whereas before he didn't seem t…

That's a great point. However, I can act and look very feminine but if I'm boring/have no substance then I can't keep a guy. I replied in another comment to say that the first few dates are usually fine but eventually my bland personality shows through :/

Of course F.O.R.D. is better than R.A.P.E. Like I said in my post, I do theoretically know the basics of conversation, I just have trouble executing it. I need to practice more, I think. And I don't think sarcasm has to be negative, it all depends on how you use it. Edit: I also wanted to add that I have no problem with the first few conversations. But you can only get to know someone for so long before you eventually move onto other topics, and that's the part I usually struggle with.

This is great advice, thanks! Of course I want to have character, charisma, etc. but it's a process like you suggested. I'll definitely go to more meetups and work on platonic conversations to build my skills. I do know the basics, just need more practice.

Thanks! I do ask questions but in doing so they also ask questions about me and that's where I stumble. I feel awkward answering because I feel as though there's nothing too much about me that I can elaborate on. But that is something I will work on. For now, I will focus on interrogating someone without sounding like I'm interviewing them.
/r/RedPillWomen18/09/16 04:43 AM

Thank you :) The issue I have with questions is exactly that. I don't want to sound like I'm interrogating. But yes bringing myself into the conversation when I'm asking questions is a great idea. I do want to be witty/have my own sense of humor that comes naturally. Alas, that will come later.

To grow your hair, try the inversion method! It sounds kooky but by bringing blood flow to your scalp, you can get an inch of growth in a week. It's cheap and easy so at least give it a shot. To improve the quality of your hair, like the other comments have said, pay attention to what you eat (definitely don't skimp on healthy fats) and look into taking a biotin supplement.
