Yea patriarchy pushes a lot of weird shit. Like that one guy on Fox News who said men shouldn’t wish other men happy birthday. Fuckin weird. Patriarchy is about dehumanizing EVERYONE.

This is textbook insecurity. What you’re describing are beliefs that serve to disable you and make you miserable. They are engineered to feel “real” and “logical” but they are not. There are so many facets to being a person that it’s impossible to compete and comparisons will always fail. Just start writing your own story about you and your life now.

You’re attracted to who you’re attracted to. And it can shift. But I will say someone who looks like a 2 can turn into a 10 to you once you get to know them.

I second the other commenters. But I would add that foreign governments, especially Russia, operate fake accounts and human-like bots to push misogyny. The more men who get entrapped by red pill the most likely pro-Russian interests are served when they go to vote. Especially in an election year, I expect misogyny and racism to get real noisy over the next few months.

A lot of women in those spaces are “trauma dumping”. They, like everyone, are on a path in life that can be isolating and those subs help combat that. One day you’ll reach a place where you feel only empathy rather than feel like a target. It’ll get better. If I were guessing, like really guessing, you feel guilt and shame mainly and those posts feel like a twisting knife.

Dude forms long term relationship with his first gf at 16: has sex 100 times per year, grand total 1000 scores in ten years. Does it all sober and wide awake. Another dude nuts too soon with 300 girls in that same ten years: has sex 30 times per year, grand total 300 scores in ten years. Has to use alcohol to do any of it lol. Obviously the dude who can form long term attachment understands his woman and his relationship better and has more sexual experience. I’m not sure how the logic on this o…

TRP is self-destructive because it causes a short circuit in what is normal identity and self esteem development. This fuels rumination and obsession and because your worth is reduced to a couple facets like your appearance, you just get stuck in the loop. You’ll need to break the circuit. Stop thinking about your appearance. End that part of self awareness. It’s an illusion to hijack your mind. Focus on improving your life in ways you can control, learn to play an instrument, learn to deadlift …

Low self-esteem and other mental pain can cause toxic behavior. There are multiple adaptations to cope with low self-esteem and emotional immaturity. Those adaptations are meant to be protective but at the cost of damaged ways of relating to other people. Men and women. It is my non-scientific opinion that Red Pill targets men specifically and validates those adaptations. So to them it fits like a glove because it is validation. An easy trap. Women also have unhealthy adaptations but it shows up…

Finding a psychologist to work with can be a bitch. If you think you'll have better luck with a man psychologist, just narrow your search for male psychologists. I can see why it would be useful to work with a man psychologist. But there might be other guys in your position who might prefer a woman psychologist instead. I think it is a matter of preference. I will also add that you have to give psychologists a chance. It takes time. The best one I ever had I did not immediately click with and on…

Logic dictates that individuals can and often will deviate from the generalizations we think they should fit into. In fact it is the lower part of your brain that needs overgeneralizations like AWALT. The emotional, illogical, irrational, unintelligent, and fearful part of the mind is not built for noticing nuances and appreciating individual people. That's the part that tells you AWALT is factual. RP and MGTOW trap men into a hyper subjective, society-centric philosophy where your lower brain r…

I highly doubt they claim absolutes. Journalists and article writers who build content for websites that rely on sensational content will use absolutes.

In mathematics you can disprove a "for all" statement with demonstrating a single exception or even a class of exceptions. If I told you all shapes have more than 4 sides and you show me a triangle, then you have disproved me. Later, if I were writing a program that runs operations on shapes I would need to have the program check if the shape it is processing has 3 sides or not because of the exception you showed me. Every time my program runs I need to make that check without fail. The same wor…
