But anyway, I asked because those are both two pretty recognizable references with each having a unique relationship with sex. Based on your post, I read up on both the Old Testament and Puritans regarding their relationship with sex. The Old Testament seems pretty deplorable with rape, cheating, and incest. I definitely don't support that. Puritans seemed to have monogamous relationships that did require sex (and no sex was actually punishable by law lol). They wrote each other love letters and…

No need to be rude. I'm actually impressed that you're a woman. I've tried to engage in meaningful debate with several women on this subreddit and they usually just stop responding or they start berating me randomly. Anyway, I was reading the material you sent me plus looking up more plus dealing with an immediate problem with my business (and then reddit crashed for a bit). I will reply to you on the other part of the thread.

Do you think the Old Testament focuses on sex? Do you think Puritans focused on sex? I have no idea what the Old Testament or the Puritans focused on. I literally know nothing about these things and I'm not sure what it has to do with what I was saying. I also don't really know where you're going with that. I'm certainly opened to being enlightened though. Can you provide sources that show a causal relationship between sex positive societies and an unhealthy relationship towards sex within those…

Those are reasonable things as well. I just didn't think of them. Personally, I think everything would be better if there was less focus on sex. I believe that the focus on sex began with the relaxation of society's control on women's sexuality.

No raping. No cheating. One thing that I don't like about the past in this regard is that cheating among men was accepted and, oftentimes, resulted in the man abandoning his family. This should not be allowed for obvious reasons. Ultimately, men's sexuality is pretty simple and has been well-known for a long time.

That's true. A decent and lifelong partner is just what it sounds like: a nice woman who is a good wife and won't fuck you over in divorce. And it's pretty much impossible to predict these days, which is why I said that the guys got lucky.

Basically, things of the past: shamed for pre-marital sex and illegitimate children, no birth control (which would limit promiscuity), things of that nature. I realize that these are not realistic expectations or desires in today's world, but I am certainly a fan of these methods. I'm not one that believes that uncontrolled hypergamy and the encouragement of women to act according to their true nature will necessarily lead to the downfall of society (I don't know where it will lead), but I do be…

I used to message tons of girls randomly off Facebook (and Myspace when it was popular) back in the mid-2000s. It worked extremely well. Then Facebook started penalizing me for adding random women. So I stopped. These days, it doesn't seem like many younger people are very active on Facebook at all. It seems like Facebook has been overtaken by actual Boomers. At least, this is what I've noticed. I could be wrong. And, yeah, I've heard about people meeting on Instagram, but, given how photo-based…

I've seen it on this sub as shorthand for tall, good-looking guys. I didn't know that it was used on FDS. All I really know about that sub is that it's exclusively women that hate men.

How is a "traditional dating app" different than a "regular dating app"?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 08:41 PM

Of course FDS doesn't say this. They would never say anything even remotely bad about women or their intentions. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 08:39 PM

I disagree. I think the way that men and women act are largely biological and really can't be changed. Overall, I'm a fan of traditional gender roles and societal limitations on women's sexuality. I prefer stability over excitement.

The women are pretty awful. Drug addicts, single mothers, extremely entitled women. I think I collectively spent a week on dating apps/sites in the past 10 years. The women that seem normal don't respond to my messages.

There is definitely a true female nature, just like there is true male nature. Men and women are different and have different natural tendencies. The true nature of men was previously known. The true nature of women was not previously known. And now it is, which is a good thing for men, in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 07:52 PM

This was my experience growing up as well (in the 90s and early 2000s). While I don't identify as one pill or the other, I do think that the true female nature was hidden from us and we are better knowing the truth. When I was younger, I was certainly sitting fat, dumb, and happy. Fortunately, I didn't make any life-altering decisions (had a few near misses though) during my many years of ignorance.

I've found that it's hit or miss. There were still some good girls in Gen X. So, if a guy played his cards right (and got lucky), he could end up with a decent and lifelong partner. Of course, for every one of those, I know several where things didn't turn out this well (though there seems to have been red flags that the guys just didn't heed). Anyway, at least we know now and we are fortunate for that.

Are dating apps dying? From my understanding, they're doing better than ever. And why would women stop using them when it gives them access to HVM who they would have no chance with otherwise.

This has not been my experience at all. I'm a guy that makes friends easily (well, used to - I stopped trying in recent years). I've always done exactly what you said - have social circles, make friends at work, pretty social, etc. It can work for meeting women in the real world (who still have sky high expectations and really only want the top men), but it doesn't do anything for online dating (and why would it?), which is completely looks-based. In my experience, social skills can help a bit, …

Exactly. I'm a little older than many here (mid-30s). I know a lot of guys that are maybe 10 years older than me (Gen X) who really got fucked over in marriage and divorce because they really didn't know what they were getting themselves into. While it sucks for men today, it's infinitely better to be a Millennial or Zoomer because of the availability of information. If a guy in our age group gets involved with a terrible woman (which are the majority), then he only has himself to blame. If he g…

Yup, the women are victims because they are inconvenienced by their husbands' deaths. Now, they have to go out and find a job. Poor women. Just look at the male suicide rate today. Nobody cares at all. You never hear about this stuff in the media.

Women know the deal. They always have. They just don't want to admit it. Men, yes, tend to have their heads up their asses about this topic. I don't watch any newer movies. I find them to be mostly shitty and feminist-oriented.

No, you are wrong and it is clear that you don't know much about history (especially since you really didn't address any of my points). I'm an avid genealogist. Historical death records are not extremely well-preserved, especially not from that time period. Typically, before the 1500s or so and especially in the middle ages, records were terrible and very scant. I have mixed feelings when it comes to politics. I agree that Republicans have become completely insane (I despise Trump, personally). They hate science and are now the conspiracy theory party. With that said, I'm a straight, while male and, more often than not, I feel attacked by Democrats. So, while I agree with many Democratic policies, I can't get fully behind them for the reasons above. I consider myself to be an Independent. What things are done in a “respectable and honorable manor”? Be specific. First, I don't appreciate you taking my grammatically correct statement and making it grammatically incorrect. I was initially really embarrassed to have confused "manor" with "manner", only to find that I didn't lol. Anyway, have you heard of courting? It used to be something that men did post-WW2. There were more women than men then and the men really could have taken advantage of the situation. But, being honorable, the…

I did read through it. Ultimately, the data is not reliable because their system of collecting said data was not and could not possibly have been reliable, given the time, the medical system at that time, and their data collecting abilities. Also, the fact that they had significantly less data in plague years is very telling. Obviously, less people did not die during those years, yet the records reflect less deaths, indicating issues with the record keeping. As I said, this is not the fault of m…

I can only speak from my experiences. I got way more ass when I was an asshole than when I was nice. This was pre-dating apps though. I only dabbled on them, but my impression was that you won't get ass no matter what you do unless you're very attractive lol.

You can’t be nice but barely shower and play video games all day. So you're saying that if a guy is nice, starts showering, and stops playing video games all day, women will like him? You should head over to the inkwell forum. They'd love you over there lol.

I think we can all agree that by being nice to absolutely nobody publicly (and a few friends and family members privately) is probably the best solution. This allows the guy to not get treated like crap, have more fun, keep more resources (since you're not being a pussy and spending on women), and attract more women in the process. Sure, some women won't like an asshole, but most do. I've found that women will often try to find ways to convince themselves that you're actually not an asshole.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 03:45 AM

That's a good thing imo, and you're right niceness has nothing to do with it. What gets revealed are the underhanded tactics and manipulation, niceness was just a false front. Having good social cordiality is different from being nice. There's nothing wrong with using underhanded tactics to get laid. Just don't get caught using them.

The problem with "Nice Shaming" is that it's exposing the real nature of the game. This isn't a bad thing. Guys need to know the deal and act accordingly. It's better to be an attractive asshole than an unattractive nice guy.

I don't mean physical labor. I mean labor in terms of work (as in the Department of Labor) and whatever form that takes in the future. For example, programming and software development is a form of labor. Sure, there will be automation in the future, but new automation also creates new problems that humans need to solve.

https://www.cdc.gov/plague/maps/index.html This is from recent data collected by the CDC. The bubonic plague is still present in some parts of the world. Therefore, this data is up-to-date and accurate. The information that you've provided is from the 1300s-1400s. There are several problems with it. First, the data is limited. Second, the conclusion is obtained somewhat dubiously, basically by process of elimination and not hard data. Third, the data is obtained just from one region of a single …

Yeah, it's all cyclical. Eventually, we'll be thrust back into a situation where society needs rebuilding. So things will naturally become male dominant at that time. Until them, enjoy the decline......and move to a third world country if you want to continue your lineage.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 12:01 AM

Yes. If you delay something forever, then it never happens. So we just need to keep finding ways to "delay doom".
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 10:57 PM

That's true. Maybe I'm framing this in the wrong way. In this particular case, the actions of the Democrats (whether intentional or not) can ultimately prevent detrimental population decline. In the same way, Republicans are trying to limit access to birth control. In the current state of our society (decreasing population), this is a good thing for the future (though it might be viewed poorly by individual women).

Agreed. The countries that are reproducing in high amounts today will be (or will be a major labor contributor for) the superpower of tomorrow. This has happened many times throughout history.

Like in most situations in the past, male misery won't become an issue until it causes female suffering.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 10:36 PM

The difference in those situations was that, during war, it's mostly young men that are killed. This allows the surviving men to basically have their pick of women. Because women have to compete for men. So men can demand that things be done in a respectable and honorable manner. As far as the Bubonic Plague goes, the CDC states that it is more common in men than women (but they don't give an exact figure for this). So it's possible that the plague wiped out more men than women, resulting in the…

Absolutely. Boomers destroyed many things besides wages. They basically undid all of the good things that their parents did for the world (and went much further). In general, they are the stupidest and most entitled generation to have ever lived. My generation (millennials) is certainly trying to become even more stupid and more entitled, but, so far, we don't hold a candle to the asshole Boomers.

I grew up when some of these movies were coming out. Superbad, in particular, came out when I was like 20. Nobody took that movie seriously. We just liked it because we found it hilarious. Of note, Superbad was partially created by Judd Apatow, who was kind of like the real life version of these guys. He's nerdy and married his wife, Leslie Mann, who is much hotter and younger than him, before he became famous. And Harry Potter was written by a woman. When I think of movies that OP was talking a…

No one who is paying attention thinks this. It's obvious that if we don't increase immigration significantly, our generation (Millennials) will have problems when it's our time to receive social security. I believe that the Democrats see this too, which is why they're trying to increase immigration and the paths to citizenship. More citizens means more taxpayers.

Maybe consider moving to the east coast. I'm from New York. There are plenty of Puerto Ricans everywhere and most white people are some mixture of Jewish, Italian, and Polish (so, generally, pretty short). At 5'6, I do not feel particularly short in New York. Republicans and Democrats are both terrible. I was just discussing this with family the other day. I have no idea who to vote for because they're both so bad for different reasons. Not sure if you ever watch South Park, but there was an episode where the only 2 options for a local political leader (I forget the exact details) were a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich. I feel like that's where we're at in American politics.

Again, provide sources instead of hurling random insults. Unfortunately, this is a common feminist tactic that is not sufficient in proving an argument. I don't dislike women. I dislike feminists. I do dislike you, personally. Like most feminists, you are cherry-picking an argument without providing sources. You do not understand how to engage in a debate. This doesn't cut it and is not how to engage in a debate. Go back to school and get educated on how to formulate an argument. Really? I'm currently in New York. Are you saying that I could just call up a prostitute right now and everything would be cool? I haven't heard anything about that. You should consider running for political office if you think you can get all of that passed. I have my doubts. We have an extremely ineffectual government that can't even agree to punish a man that put many of their own lives at risk. I have my doubts that anything of real substance can be accomplished at a federal level.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 12:41 PM

This is great in theory, but will never be implemented. Republicans would block legalization of prostitution and government handouts (even if they are just to kickstart a program). They would give us the same old tired adage of manning up. Democrats, frankly, do not care about men as a demographic. I doubt that they would do anything to help us, even if it benefits society in the long-term. So, unfortunately, there is no realistic solution to the OP's questions. It'll be interesting to see how A…

Actually, let me do your work for you, since you not only don't know how to form a coherent argument (typical of feminists and women in general), but you are also wrong. A very basic google search brought me to this Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_views_on_prostitution. Wikipedia, as we know, includes several sources. As you can see, some feminists support prostitution. But this is only through the lens of the women. Why? Because feminists are an anti-male hate group. They…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 12:16 PM

Do you have a source? I'm guessing you don't. Otherwise, you would have provided it. Either way, feminists are an anti-male hate group. They do not do things that would benefit men. If you can't see that, you are beyond help (or you are willfully ignorant, which is probably more likely).
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 12:07 PM

Source? I find that hard to believe since, while legalizing prostitution would be beneficial for sex workers (who are predominantly female), it would also benefit men, which we all know is against the feminist agenda.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 11:40 AM

It has to be more then just that. Prostitution has to be normalized and seen as okay. To the point where it is okay for 18 year old men (or whatever the future age of consent for it is) to get one for his birthday. Oh yeah, I absolutely agree with that and would have elaborated if that poster didn't bow out of the conversation (feminists tend to do that when they're losing an argument). There would certainly need to be a marketing campaign to de-stigmatize prostitution and other sex work. And, r…

There is something that is already starting to happen: decreased birth rate in the US and a decreasing white population. From a dating standpoint, this isn't a bad thing. White women are certainly the worst women out there. Terrible, awful people. I am not too sure what the implications will be of a population decrease, which is likely to continue to happen unless we significantly ramp up immigration.

If that's the case, I don't fault guys for turning to porn, especially if the guy is average to below average looking (and faces almost certain constant rejection). It's a reasonable response. There's a thing called rejection hypersensitivity that a lot of men seem to have (admittedly myself included) and many men that have this issue will go to great lengths to avoid rejection. I certainly have. In the past, it is likely that men would have had this problem too, but, from what I've heard, women…

If you live in an area that has a lot of whites and Asians, I'm guessing you live in California somewhere. If that's the case, there should be a lot of Mexicans near you too. Mexicans can be very attractive.

I'm told that I am "cute" frequently, but I'm certainly no model. And I'm 5'6. Not sure if any degree of attractiveness is enough to make up for that height. At least when I was in bars and clubs, I had a system that worked very well for me. I have no idea if it would work anymore. I've dated Hispanic women. They do have a preference for tall guys (emphasis on preference). They are definitely willing to bend that preference for someone that is charming and a good dancer. If you can be charming, …

Again, men and women express themselves differently. Men tend to become angry, whereas women tend to be more upset. It's based on our biology and socialization. In conclusion: Maybe consider being a little more understanding and sympathetic.

I have a lot of life experience. I've been to many places and met many people. Never once have I known a woman that was legitimately sexually assaulted. I've known women that accused guys without any merit, which resulted in negative consequences for the guy and actual rewards for the girl. A prime example of this is a courts martial that I sat in on when I was in the military. I did not know the accused or the accuser personally, but I worked with many people that knew them and were present on …

That's my definition of rape too. I knew guys in college that were accused of rape when the girl simply change their mind. This is the only kind of accusation that I've ever seen (thankfully, the girls that I slept with at least had a little bit of integrity and didn't do me dirty like that). And that was 10-15 years ago. I could just imagine how bad things are for younger guys now.

Men and women respond differently when they're upset. Men get angry and lash out. Women get upset and cry to their friends. Maybe consider being a little more understanding and sympathetic.

Don't you know? Every woman has been raped at least once according to #MeToo. Big bad men are just going on raping sprees all the time...everywhere. No woman is safe! /s

For women that isn't true. Because women aren't men Are you sure? Doesn't your feminist doctrine state that women and men are exactly the same? Oh right. We're only the same when it's convenient for women. Otherwise, we're different.

They also can't reproduce, which takes away a lot of their value.

The problem with rape is that it's oftentimes very subjective. We went from a society where rape is not even considered wrong to a society where a woman's word is considered to be conclusive proof with no further investigation needed. Frankly, I think a lot of women exaggerate in order to garner sympathy. And I think the numbers are largely inflated because of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 03:37 AM

Yeah, it won't be the videogame industry that is fighting against legalizing prostitution. It will be feminists and religious nuts. Hell, the feminist brigade in this forum is downvoting my suggestions to legalize prostitution. They're threatened by this (even though they won't admit it). They don't want their pussies to lose power. And, yes, I agree that they will try to ban VR porn too. I'm surprised regular porn isn't illegal.

Yeah definitely. With that said, it wasn't too much of advantage until dating apps. When I used to frequent clubs and bars about 10 years ago or so, I had no problem picking up girls, having sex with them in my car and bathrooms (places like that). The dating apps were a game changer. Near complete crickets. I feel bad for short guys trying to date these days. The upside is that the white population in the US is decreasing significantly. By the time we have children and they're old enough to wor…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 03:28 AM

I agree. I think legalization of prostitution would be a better solution to this problem though.

Really? I had one friend in college that basically pimped out his girlfriends to me. It worked and it was awesome. #HumanitarianChad

I'm a short guy and, yes, we are treated poorly. Would not recommend. ETA: I will say that I'm a bit older than most people here (mid-30s) and it wasn't always like this. I didn't have a problem getting girls in college. I think the advent of dating apps and social media, along with the censoring of hate speech on pretty much everyone except short men, has caused this. This would explain why it wasn't very difficult to reproduce as a short man in the past.

You said: Yeah millennials love to blame “boomers” for their own shortcomings. I listed reasons why Boomers are terrible and how they have significantly hurt the world. This has nothing to do with anybody getting their dicks wet. And I was not accusing you of being a Boomer (I would never insult an innocent person in that way).
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 10:14 PM

Last I checked prostitution was illegal. Soliciting a prostitute can result in sex offender status. Maybe talk to your feminist leaders about legalization and de-stigmatization of this glorious profession and you will see less complaining. Since feminists hate men and would never willingly help them, maybe you could spin it in a way that shows that it will have benefits for women. Unless you're willing to do that, you're not solving the problem. Truthfully, I'm tired of seeing you complain about…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 10:10 PM

Of course. Don't you know that any guy that wants to have a child alone is a dirty sexual predator? /s Typical liberal government for ya.

It's not surprising. If you look at historical height averages in the US, average height has actually not increased much at all over the past 100 years.

At that height, you're definitely in the Top 20%. Sorry to disappoint(?) you.

Boomers are at fault for most things. Modern misandrist feminism? Boomers did it. Explosion and popularization of divorce? Boomers did it. Climate change (the literal destruction of our planet)? Boomers did it. They are, by far, the worst generation that has ever existed. It would be hard for Millennials to beat them in their awfulness (though I will admit that our generation is trying).
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 09:40 PM

Yeah college is definitely outdated. It has been for a while. Without the social aspect, there's no point.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 09:36 PM

Makes sense. Based on what I've read about the current situation at universities, if a guy looks at a girl the wrong way, he can be expelled for sexual assault. I would imagine that it's pretty risky to even approach women in that environment these days. So glad I went to college in the late 2000s lol.

Rejection can be more traumatizing than rape or a violent crime if OP experiences rejection hypersensitivity. It sounds like he does. Poor guy.

Nah, it's best to move out of the country and stay there. Get married to a nice girl in a patriarchy and have a family. Kids that don't have a mother in their life will probably be just as fucked up as those that don't have a father.

Haha yeah I don't even swipe right on girls that are taller than me. No point. I'm your age. Prior to dating apps, yes, I did ask out girls taller than me and, oftentimes, I was successful. But I would never ever do that now. No way Jose.

I think you mean height requirements. Preferences are things traits that people want, but are willing to bend on. How many women do you know that are willing to bend on height? I don't know many.
