Gravel, sand and water. Don't need a degree to mix the 'greedients.

I wouldn't call operations research, markov models and advanced queueing theory "teensy bit" of math. But your general idea is right. Source: former accounting major turned IE because I would rather improve systems than count beans.

Man, those Jordan Peterson vids are rotting your mind. Go read some college textbooks or something else based on facts.

Well, that was on you, wasn't it? Most top engineering programs are part of broader liberal arts universities.

He's in the middle of some red pill rage/ Tom Leykis shit right now. He's always bitching about 'pulling resources'. Like what is he doing for a living? Can't be anything very lucrative if he's having such trouble "pullin bitches" at his age. I think he'll come around, but it will take him another failed relationship or two to give up the chase.

Think tanks are created, run and operated to be biased toward the ideological goals it believes in. Anything coming out of a think tank is by definition not objective and should not be taken seriously. If it doesn't weigh multiple sides of the issue, it isn't a credible source.

(I wrote this from your cousins point of view. Being so judgmental isn't a positive life trait. Please write the words "be compassionate" on your mirror. I am not practicing what I preach in this post, but I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard...) This is the new "I was just pretending to be retarded" disclaimer, isn't it?

Probably a lack of awareness and empathy. Those gym selfies usually mean some poor guy/gal had to wait for them to finish their narcissistic bullshit and let them use the machine they needed to use.

For every gym selfie, there's a well-meaning person pissed off waiting for her to finish her selfie bullshit and let him/her use the squat rack. Whenever I notice someone doing two reps on a machine and spending another 6 minutes fiddling with their phone, I know they're just there to update the ol' profile.

So you're upset that people find you attractive? Really? Why'd you bother with improving yourself physically, if you only wanted to be seen for "what's on the inside"?

That's not a specific Millenial problem. Wall Street finance, Big 4 accounting firms, hedge funds, Silicon Valley and consultancy firms all have insanely narrow organizational pyramids (more like spinning tops!). Lots of 20-somethings at the bottom rung, with very narrow management and executive levels where the few older folks remain. The other older folks were let go and moved on to start their own firms or join smaller firms that are less youth-friendly. This has always been the case. It's no…

The conference may be better for finding potential wingmen. Find a couple fellas who seem more outgoing and are willing to hit up the clubs. You gotta have the social proof in a place like Vegas.

Seriously, don't let grass grow under your feet. 90% of what college is about is the social networking and personal development. If I could do it all over, I would have joined 1 intramural/club sports team, 1 social group (greek or otherwise), and 1 specialty hobby group (make sure this is a large and diverse enough group to make a lot of friends in). That should be on top of any groups related to your chosen major/career.
