11	On the way home I asked a female pedestrian if I could buy a cigarette and she responded with, "I could call 911!" Jesus. We're talking about how a woman shouldn't feel threatened by two men asking for a smoke in the dark, while at the same time we're upvoting a comment basically stating a woman needs to watch her mouth in the dark because if she doesn't, she's going to get raped. 0	When I was 16, I was denied a spot in homeless shelters with my family due to being a "man". A 16 year old kid being separated from his family because he's male is ridiculous and discriminatory and requires attention. But airplanes as an analogy is absolutely terrible. Separate transports for women? That's insane! Unless you live in Japan, I guess, where they do actually need separate trains to cut down on sexual assaults. Or India, where they probably should. 4	"It's More Dangerous Than Ever to Be a Female War Reporter" Really? Reporter deaths in past 5 years who were male: 100%/96%/98%/100%/88% ... but 34.8% of all reporters are women. Quite a bit of rage here from folks that didn't read the article. It doesn't compare female casualties to men at all. It is very narrow in its scope. There are two items in the article that are worth being annoyed over: the suggestion that allowing eager young female journalists who want to make their mark by taking on risky missions is male executive exploitation, and the suggestion that mothers are more significantly impacted by these risks than fathers. 2	Attorney destroys the false rape graphic I would consider a false claim to be one where someone engaged in consensual sex, then later said it was rape. That's an impossible figure to know and putting it on an infographic is shady. However, it's just as shady apply the label "false claim" to instances where the woman was in fact raped by an unknown assailant, and the police come up with the wrong guy who was proven innocent with DNA evidence, which is what this attorney is doing in his counter point.	/r/MensRights	11/01/13 12:21 AM
5	So this is equality My 6th grade teacher touched girls in appropriately for years before I had him, and over a decade after before a girl he touched forced him to retire. No criminal charges. The high school volleyball coach had sex with 3 girls on his team, and bought the team booze on away games. Didn't even lose his job. 1	Seddit, what are your go-to questions/ jokes/ games etc. to spark life back into a dying conversation? reddit lies about the number of upvotes/downvotes to fool bots or somesuch. The only value that has true meaning is the total displayed. If it was 0 and reporting (0\|0), bushido probably got exactly 1 downvote (1\|1) and reddit lied to you. 2	Thanks to you, Reddit, I canceled my son's circumcision today. Some people can bathe every few days and never get a pimple. Some people can take two showers a day, use the most advanced medicines developed, sleep with a fresh towel across their pillow every night, and still regularly break out with acne. 4	Thanks to you, Reddit, I canceled my son's circumcision today. It does go both ways. My friend's little brother was not circumcised. At the age of 21, after years of trading infections with his girlfriend and dealing with discomfort, he got himself circumcised. After the procedure, he said it was the best thing he'd ever done and didn't understand why everyone didn't have it done.
