If you’re on a couch watching a movie, it’s obvious you’re there to fuck. Don't listen to these delusional idiots lmao

Right I feel like we're getting somewhere. I might be underestimating it like you say, but I'm in the position I am because I haven't seen much evidence to the contrary - in the same vein I think you might be overestimating it, since I believe you frequent environments that hyper-emphasise these cases whenever they do occur. What other hobbies have feminists ruined? In what way are VG companies caving in to their demands? My workplace made us do all sorts of 'awareness' training programs, probab…

I'm a startup indie games developer by the way so I know plenty about the games industry too. So then you know in more detail than I do, all about how the idiots currently whining about the portrayal of women in games are hardly an invention. Then there's all the crap going on within universities where you have actual scholars posting fake papers to 'feminist journals' that get accepted without question and it's just them completely making up bullshit that fits in with their ideology. Good point…

I didn't do so because your 'points' are all trash, but sure if you wish: Feminism isn't some sort of homogeneous global conspiracy to oppress men (you're delusional if you think so); video games have been under attack for their portrayal of violence and sex for as long as they have existed. Does the name 'Jack Thompson' mean anything to you? Were you around when DOAX was released, or are you too young for that?

This sub used to discuss things like divorce proceedings, domestic abuse, emotional and psychological wellbeing - you know, things that are actually hugely biased against men in modern society. Nowadays it's all 'feminism is stoopid!' 'women over 30 are useless and should die' along with a bunch of other 'redpill' trash. Perhaps you're right and I'm seeing it worse than it is, but a little more pushback against bullshit such as 'feminism was always about controlling men' would be nice.

No? But it feels as if it's slowly being hijacked by incel/weird mgtow talking points.

It was always about power over men Seeing people post crap like this and not getting pushback for it is sadly the state of this sub atm, slowly drifting from what it originally was. Look up what the state of womens rights was back when feminism was 'new'..

I'm seeing a shift in the feminism movement, going from equality oriented to power over men oriented To be fair there are also people trying to push this very sub in a similar MGTOW/incel/altright/misogyny direction. It takes competent mods and a literate user base to prevent this, but clickbaity titles and fishhooking extreme ideas into mainstream arguments are quite prevalent, and sometimes difficult to spot.

I can't believe I'm agreeing (mostly) with a TRP post.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
