This is happening to a larger extent because people, that are unable to see things from different perspectives, aka critically approaching the subject, are in general less likely to acknowledge double standards. It is my observation that women, in general, exhibit fewer sings of critical thinking than men do. Women, in general, can and will approach things logically on occasions, in a sense that logic isn't their modus operandi, but rather an alternative approach. Among each other, women will fo…

I agree 99% with your last paragraph. That being said, chimp mode is not normally a default mode in majority of the population. There has to be reason for that. I am not defending her position, but sorting things out helps straighten the narrative. It looks like management was aware of that and in a way complicit with that. Was there reason for that? We don't know. If you want to have a solid argument, don't cut mine in half and then comment on the other half. I mentioned 45 men to point out a h…

And I am not disagreeing with you. I indicated that I am in no way justifying her actions. What she did was wrong, and whatever impetus OP had behind his actions, it won't make her actions any way less wrongful.

What a waste of talent.

There are four stalls in there; cleaning lady cannot clean other three at the same time.

Can I ask you a question without any assumptions, implication, or judgements of any kind. Were there any vacant stalls at the time you decided to use that particular stall? If there were, why did you decide to use that particular one? I am in no way implying to defend one's entitlement to a private stall.

Yeah, but empirically speaking tummys are rather ugly, and thigh gaps are kinda cute. I do see a double standard. Calling it a joke doesn't absolve it from being a double standard.

Obviously a troll. A borderline genius troll. I had to read his post a few times to see some sense or lack thereof in his trollings.

Representativeness would be one of the problems in that study. If I am not mistaken, that study was analyzing female response rates. If you google that study here on reddit, you will find some well-written comments casting shadow on that particular approach. User base is but one measure that was problematic with that study.

That particular experiment was run among OKC users. How many of your friend circle have OKC profile. In my circle it is like 10-15% among girls. For guys it is even less; I can't even assign the number. How representative is that group? How skewed will statistics among that group? What is margin of error? And most importantly, it is website that published and conducted the experiment. How credible is that? See how many holes are in that arc of a story?

You can't take OKC results and apply them to general population.

Ah. Good old precise English language. "They" might be equally referred to either girls or boys. Or both. You have to dig deeper when reasoning Marilyn Monroe.

More studies are needed to substantiate your conclusion

No one challenges you in being as skeptical as you want. Be one. But when you choose to naively disprove someone on the premise of not having studies to Your conclusions, well, someone will throw a dick card on your breakfast plate.

So does everybody else in this thread. Does that mean I am disproving everything you say? Precisely what you've done

Cheese and rice. The more I read your responses, the more I see this law student heckling Jimmy Carr. You just keep disproving people using the same old fashioned trick. How about you prove us you are not being wrong here. Can you show us studies where woman don't make poor parents, or that divorced parents are less likely to be emotionally disturbed? Can you tell us what conclusions you draw from that article? Also, while you are at it, send us some proof that your parents divorced to substanti…

I would recommend you dropping the word rigor out of your vocabulary. At least, never use it in conjunction with the word academic. These words don't make your statements any more appropriate. Original article doesn't present you with any conclusion (at least, those conclusions you seek studies for). Article merely presents numbers. Each of us draws his or her own conclusion. You disprove OP by citing lack of studies of problems that weren't even present in the article to begin with. How is your…

*facepalm. Classic response- more studies are needed to establish causation. I wish there were a magical team of elves that would be going around and conducting studies for people like you for the sole purpose of stf- upping those people.

Here's another thing you can learn today. Morons that draw wrong conclusions are nature

Who said I was referring to child support? Females getting pregnant is nature.
/r/MensRights22/03/13 03:08 PM

Because that's nature. Might as well deal with this. Life is not 100% fair. Accept that and play with these rules. I can name you thousands of reasons why and where it is better to be male; in its turn, you had nothing to do with your sex.

If you are anxious and have no idea how to approach, don't do it. You'll look like a SAP and ruin your future attempts. But if you scramble your eggs enough to do it, just go with it. Don't look back, don't look for approaches. Put your poker face on and join. I think by now that hot tub is empty though
