Age: mid twenties Pill: Purple I guess Score: 100 MBTI: infp How you think your femininity has affected your love life. Do you think you'd have an easier time if you were more/less feminine? I think I am a little more headstrong than most feminine women but I also think that helps things along sometimes -Which aspects of your personality are most feminine? Least feminine? I'm mid-twenties (don't like to give overly identifying details). I agree that women on average look better young. However younger men imo haven't grown into themselves physically or mentally, and still look like babies. Men up to 20 years older than me can be very attractive and definitely not disgusting.

Girls are repulsed by taking care of a guy, or being an emotional rock in a relationship. The minute a guy shows consistent weakness, he is done. I'm not saying vulnerability is bad, however despite what people say, experience and observation has shown me that when a guy is going through a down and out period, most women won't stick by his side .(sometimes they don't deserve to bc the guy is a bum, but I'm referring more to a guy who is going through the trial of fire of life and finding as he s…

Yup. Men have told me they like sluts because they're experimental and experienced, and if she's been with lots of guys it's an ego boost if she compliments your sexing.

Agreed that it could be a dangerous inclination for women in the past, but adjusting one's mentality to the times one lives in seems the opposite of mentally defective to me.

I know men and women who care and men and women who don't care. It's not really a big deal because people will generally be more compatible with someone who falls into the same camp.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/16 03:39 PM

It's not like you have to flirt with someone to get propositioned or infer someone's interest. Most men tend to keep quiet about the times they've been rejected. I really can't picture a situation where a woman is teased by a group for not putting out with someone who propositioned her, outside of high school. I think if anything, more selective or less promiscuous women are gossiped about less and seen as having an extra allure of unattainability.

ITT: Mansplainers insist that women pretend to enjoy orgasms because despite having no romantic or sexual attraction to men, they have all agreed to devote their lives to manipulating men because it's obviously the most efficient way of getting anything in life.

I don't see how your view is compatible at all with the RP idea that women offer alphas no-strings-attached sex, if they're not getting any gratification or anything in return. Also, albeit anecdotally, women frickin love sex. And it's just absurd to generalize such a simplistic paradigm for half the population.

When you know someone well and have an emotional bond with them you don't really pay attention to their features anymore. Mostly their expressions. Anyway a guy doesn't have to have a stunning face or body to have charisma and sexual magnetism, if he carries himself with confidence, has nice eyes, is playful or tough/ whatever turns you on, makes you feel good. Just as a model or isn't necessarily sexy if he's boring and doesn't have any of those things or give off a sexual energy that feels lik…

I think this story was just about the crew on this ship as it was a very large crew on board together for months on end. The idea is that it's a microcosm because people are pent up within an enclosed group. I generally agree with you. Exactly... There is a well-known study - I'm on mobile but can look for it later - where men and women picked the most attractive person out of a lineup dressed for different jobs like in business wear vs a fast food uniform. Men picked the most stereotypically attractive woman no matter what she was wearing but women prioritized signals of status over looks. Honestly this idea of only the most handsome men being attractive to women is such a big deal here but I only ever encounter it in this ty…

Yes, if they are turned on enough, women will do almost anything, IME. Though, they won't see it as "degrading" if they are super turned on and guy is hot/sexy enough. It will be "liberating" or "an adventure" or "kinky" or whatever. I'm just wondering how you could have gathered this information. If you are the guy they are doing "liberating kinky" stuff with how do you know they ever thought the acts were degrading. And if you're not, how do you know the details of their sex lives?

I don't mind if it was due to having a job that makes it hard to meet women, or an occasional thing out of curiosity or to bond with friends. I would mind if it had to do with a sex addiction or if he couldn't get women to date him or if he traveled specifically for sex tourism. Brad Pitt is a heartthrob because he's a talented celebrity with a very toned body and is charismatic on video, has a cheeky smirk, etc. Celebrities aren't necessarily the best-looking people in the world, but people swoon over them because they are larger-than-life in our imaginations. There are reasons why women lust more after Brad Pitt than lesser-known underwear and cologne models. I don't know what FTO means but people who have tattoos are people who aren't worried about how it affects their job prospects. Yes that includes criminals but in this day and age they are probably outnumbered by people who can afford to spend thousands of dollars on cosmetic decoration and pursue a niche career or wait to be hired by a progressive company, not your average working class "prole" (wow, I didn't know people used this term unironically).

She said she has male friends that she met circumstantially. The thing is, when a man you don't know comes up to you in public apropos of nothing and just starts asking questions to get to know you, he is likely to be interested sexually. Isn't it rare for straight men to cold approach other men on the street just to chat? When you are face to face with someone you also have contextual information to judge their intentions.

Tattoos and piercings on hot women are hotter than the sahara desert. Every time I've seen someone ask men on Reddit in askmen or rating subs, the loud majority can't stand tattoos and piercings and gets pretty passionate about insulting women who have them or saying that they could have been pretty if they didn't "scribble all over their body" and "stick gross metal in their face."

Sorry for the late reply, but if you type "feel isolated" into Google, the autosuggestions are: at work, in family, with friends, in relationship, in marriage. If in a sexual act someone feels isolated, and as you said initially, someone is cut off from having agency over their own sexuality... the clearest term would be 'sexually isolated.' Your theory just isn't scientific nor is it going to revolutionize the world if you are cherry-picking what you think a word should be used to refer to, and…

Again, I never said it was something mystical. Cues that we're not conscious of noticing help us make snap judgments in a lot of cases. Women have needed to fend off dangerous men since forever, so it's possible to recognize a phenomenon of instinctively being "creeped out."

Are you single? No. What do you look for in a man? Exciting, caring, interesting, loyal, protective. Do you think men should pay for the Check when out on a date with you? I prefer it but don't expect it. If I had more money and/or suggested the activity I would pay but if a guy plans to invite me somewhere he should pay. In a relationship money, gifts, and other gestures will balance out. It's crass and petty to divvy up a bill and if you can't afford it, it's not the right time to be taking an…

If you want to look at it that way, sure. I never meant it was anything other than a quick reading of body language type signals. Certain signals are unnerving and make most women want to stay away. I'm sure there are women who use "creepy" in the middle schoolish "ew, he's weird and ugly" way but the replies in this thread are about the former kind. That was semi sarcastic, I like to think that I have a decent BS radar. It's kind of hard to fake some things long term, like perceptiveness, interesting conversation, genuine concern. If that's someone's secret strategy I'd say they have a handle on being polite. If they fake it through a whole relationship but harbor private misanthropic intentions to manipulate but it doesn't spill over into their actions, well I'd guess that most people have conflicting thoughts and egotistical motivations, …

"The Rules" is a dating guide for women that seems pretty in line with RP women ideas and does not advocate sluttifying yourself at all. It's pretty much guidelines for dating if you want to be pursued and seen as marriage material. With a foundation of being composed, classy, and hard to get, basically. I don't think any red pill ideology would encourage women to be hitting on men if that's what you mean by proactive, but if you interpret proactive as taking good care of yourself, having your l…

Obese and fat is liked only by a small minority of men, and in those cases it is more of a fetish (as in, they won't turn down a normal sized woman, but they enjoy the novelty of a fat tub of lard). A fetish actually means "an object or bodily part whose real or fantasied presence is psychologically necessary for sexual gratification and that is an object of fixation to the extent that it may interfere with complete sexual expression." That's an interesting point, never thought about that. To take it further, I'd guess maybe part of the appeal of a virgin might be that the person who fantasizes about that is doing it himself specifically. And/or maybe porn studios are not able to pay enough to enduce actual virgins. The kind of girls who would do it would do it only after seeing that it's a thing, but once it's a thing it will have enough attention that you can't do it and slip under the radar.

I really don't think sex drives can be explained away as premeditated tactics like that. If someone can just decide to turn on their sluttiness, however you define it, why wouldn't they have ever been interested in that before? Staying with a "crazy girl" has a stigma, and girls also get pulled in by certain types of crazy that provide a thrilling level of drama or lack of inhibition or whatever is the secret ingredient to the crazy a…

How is "weirdness" defined? The answer is: whatever combination of traits are unattractive to the woman speaking. This one gets tossed out so much but I'm positive that every guy who thinks like this also has certain limits with strangers in public. Promiscuous means someone who sleeps around indiscriminately, not someone who's wild in the sheets. But it's funny how they both get the same word, "slutty." This is probably why some women hold back until they really trust someone.

There are women who get breast implants and claim their sex life improved, and other women who get breast reductions and say the same. There's no reason they wouldn't all be telling the truth... He's not being coherent. First he says that saying no actually means they want it, then he says that if they don't want it they should cut him some slack because men are animals who can't help themselves. First he says he had to use force on a girl, later he says that it's rape if force is used.

Yup. And his fame is not based on his poker ability. He couldn't cut it at professional tournaments. He uses his money and connections to buy into high-profile games where they welcome the participation of a rich sucker and he can parlay his gambling into a certain visibility and hollow status. The lifestyle he shows off isn't a result of success in his pursuits, it is his pursuit. He rents cars and women to stage pictures. The kind of woman who rents her time to him probably doesn't see him as …

Yeah I know, I'm not changing my attitude it's just that before it never occurred to think that someone was a huge sexist unless they went around vocalizing it, but now it is one of those little considerations more likely to cross my mind. As you said educated people can think this too, and there are probably a lot more people who aren't red pill but casually agree with certain beliefs of theirs. The Internet reveals trends of attitudes that people usually hide. That said, you're probably right …

No, you don't. Did you even have a question for discussion?

Here's her non-apology apology Ugh, what a cop-out. If you can't recontextualize or show remorse after putting your foot in your mouth, just don't bother following up.

I'm going to go on a little sexist rant and say women can be taken from Hilary by Strong men, I think women might be influenced in their politics by the men in their lives. So basically exactly what Ms. Steinem said. I don't get why people try to find motivations for the female vote as a block. (Same goes for the minority vote). They need to be "swayed"? How do "strong men" decide who they support? Can women somehow not assess the candidates the same exact way?

Irregardless of true or false, Gloria Steinem was adressing herself to women as an advocate for women's empowerment, and completely undermined her message and perhaps the reputation of her entire life's work with a brainless comment that even if she believed, wouldn't make it true or relevant.

I got interested out of morbid curiositye of what people out there think... Ended up kind of wishing I never found out. Now when I interact with people I wonder if they're secretly tying their thoughts into knots based on misogyny. I mean I guess reddit exposes you to certain fringes but having these themes on my mind I'm starting to realize that there's probably a lot more people than I expect out there who quietly hate large swathes of people with a passion.

Often the person whining about this and getting told they're misogynistic are also saying misogynistic things. I.e. An implication that women are evil for having standards. Woe is me a woman turned me down but I bet she would have sex with "Chad." Or my wife slept around before marrying me therefore she's a gold digger who secretly prefers alpha cock. Most of these guys who dedicate themselves to ranting about being ignored by girls, probably wouldn't get girls even if they looked different... P…

Had a crush, he pursued me and said I stood out from all the other women because I was hard to impress. Other women would titter at every joke he made, touch him while talking, etc. It got annoying when we were a couple but I've never thought trying harder to please a man would make him more interested.

I'm not going to be attracted to someone just because he has some muscles. I found about half of the top ten current posts attractive. Just like not all of the girls posted to reddit are going to be your type just because they're fit.

Maybe he has been promiscuous and gotten picky about his preferences or bored with vanilla sex, but it's not fun anymore to spend time chasing, especially in the public eye. A more experienced woman is probably more likely to be accomodating, enthusiastic, and know what she's doing.

Kanye, to his credit, married a woman closer to his social and economic level that he didn't have to pick up out of the gutter (hi Amber Rose). Genuinely curious, what is it about Amber Rose that makes her so popular for hating on? How is being a stripper so different from being in a porn or in a suggestive music video? It's trashy to diss someone for dating someone you used to date too. But a lot of people jump onto the anti-Amber wave and I don't get it.

Maybe that applies to rappers with a couple one hit wonders in clubs and burn through their fortune as soon as it's in their hands. But for each of them there's a rapper whose intelligence is praised for his rhymes, artistry, or how he parlays his opportunities into financial and societal success.
