Some people even wear fake/nonprescription ones just as a fashion statement. And being smart is in. Haha, in my head obviously. Pretty sure just about everybody can wear contact lenses today with new technology from the last decade, but I might just be completely oblivious to your medical problems. I wore contacts for a few years before glasses but my eyes eventually became so dry eyes that it hurts nowadays to put on any contacts. The aim for now is to understand your insecurity - you'll get over it later I agree that this is really important (Alice Miller ftw). I have found many reasons from my childhood and family being an outsider. My problem is that back in high school I used to be part of the nerds and didn't got any female attention and was often mocked by the 'cool kids'.
