I never got why American men agree to join the military despite the high rate of divorce. At least in case of my country India, military personnel have their own hospitals which is the best in the country. And you get way more for your money than in the West. I simply think it is unrelated, even if dangerous and it is your own free will to have a child or not. Having bore a child should not be a free pass against conscription when you are able bodied. For the same reason, it is not a free pass against taxes, going to work etc. And yes, if a war cannot be won even if you put all your men and women at it for a generation (approx. 15 years), probably it is time to try a stalemate or even defeat.

The problem is, many countries living together gives the same right, responsibility as a marriage without the advantages. You'd have to divide your property on splitting up, but will have to have legal documents everywhere to be able to decide for the other person or common children.

Sure. But Christians outside specific regions are not affected by this. And the new testament prohibits it under Galatians 5:2 by Paul. During major riots, yes. A pastor from our Church was stripped because the Hindus didn't know the difference between a preists robe and the normal Muslim attire. But the last major riot was decades ago in the 90s.
