they think we need to fix it pretty much the same way that men think we need to fix it. Those women acquired that perspective post-divorce, after the alimony ruling. Women and feminists on a whole aren't protesting alimony. There is no such thing as an annual Protest Against Alimony march. Women and feminists won't start truly creating a ruckus until almost every divorced man starts demanding and getting alimony.

Right now there are babies that are being sex trafficked. Do you really think the cosmos gives a shit if you ever find your "soulmate"?

Probably for the same reason women are obsessed with being feminine.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions. A woman isn't responsible for her boyfriend hitting her, but she is responsible for choosing to stay with him.

We only care about men we care about, and if we don’t see you as a partner, son, brother, or father, we really don’t give a shit. I wish more men would take this approach to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/19 01:49 AM

Why do men expect that feminism is for fixing men's issues? Because feminists are constantly saying how "feminism is for men too". Feminists are trying to position themself as the umbrella social justice movement that includes every social issue (sex/gender/racism/sexual-orientation/etc). If you say "feminism helps men", then a natural response is "how so?".
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/19 01:42 AM

In feminist ideology, women are seen as oppressed and incapable. Anything that benefits them is seen as a net positive, even if it's at the detriment of men.

Nah bruh, women obviously have no agency and choose men based on society's influence. For real though, these women are as dumb and pathetic as incels. I have no sympathy for them. Stand on train tracks, get hit by train. Date douchebag, get treated like shit.

When you see a street fight between two men, notice how the parties are not always sized equally. That's because concepts of fairness are arbitrary when emotions of rage and bad intentions are forefront. Being nice is not the primary concern when you're being attacked. If any leniency is given during a violent altercation, it is one given out of charity, not out of necessity.

You also see it in the arts as well. Dozens of men will die in an action movie to progress the hero's plot, and it's per the usual. But you kill one woman and it's "fridging".

Feminists don't want to rationale that women can be both oppressed and the oppressor, furthermore that they can be their own oppressor. To a feminist, a woman's oppression is always someone else's fault. A woman has a low wage job because society influenced her to choose that job, not because she prefers a job in the field or simply because she chose to limit her education. A woman is a single mother because the father left, not because she chose a wrong mate. Feminism will always be a joke as l…

I have no idea why so many men here insist on comparing romantic relationships to actual jobs, but many many many people in this position DO stay with the existing job, for lots of reasons: they believe in the existing company's philosophy and mission; they have built up contacts and relationships in that company that mean a lot to them; they have a reputation in that company that would be difficult to replicate elsewhere. Your answer completely eliminates the value of decades of shared history.…

treating every single alleged sexual assault as though it could be a false accusation results in far more harm than benefit to more people There's a difference between saying "i don't believe her", versus "i don't know", and I think people like you are interpreting our inquiry as the former, when we really mean the latter. Blindly believing anyone (in a case where it's one on one, and there is no evidence either way) goes against logic we use everyday. If the mantra is "always believe the accuse…

There's a lot of extraordinary what if's here: Being in a "loving" marriage for "40" years. A 22 year old falling in love with a 63 year old. That 22 year old being a net upgrade. In this extraordinarily fantastically unlikely situation, my answer would be: "maybe". If this younger woman is an "upgrade", then by that definition, she's automatically better than my current wife. That means we have more in common, we get along better, we fuck better, she makes me happier, and she contributes more f…

There's about 7.7 billion people on the planet. Half of them are women (give or take), so now we have 3.85 billion women. Let's say 10% of those women have experienced a sexual assault or a rape, which gets us at 385 million women who have experienced some kind of sexual assault or rape. Let's say 35% of those women report their sexual-assault/rape, which means 134.75 million reports. Let's say of those reports, 10% of them contain a false allegation against a person, which gets us 13.475 millio…

I'm pretty forgiving about physique. I can date a chubby chick as long as she's got a cute face. Ideally speaking though: healthy bodyfat level, some natural curves, works out sometimes. I'm flexible. Meh, it's about proportion. C cup or D cup looks good on most women though.

He's not a woman though, so he has no reason to assume any kind of escalation. Especially during this metoo stuff, it pays for men to be more cautious and not assume anything. You can't expect men to decipher every single one of your "signs/signals", while at the same time expect men to respect your boundaries and not assume that you're into them.

Anything related to it being weird for a woman to ask a man on a date. Is there any real societal pressure in 1st world countries of the 21st century that demean women for asking a man out? I feel like it's just women not wanting to take the reins when it comes to their own dating life; complacent with being chased. I don't know any guy that has denied a woman simply because she made the first move.

It is "binding" in the sense that there are rules and legal repercussions for actions during the marriage and for a divorce. Anyone can back out, but ask anyone that has actually been through a divorce and they will tell you how stressful it was, the stress of negotiating how to divide the family assets, the high cost of using a lawyer, the months of arbitration, the impact on the children, etc. Backing out of a marriage is about as simple as backing out of the military after you've already sign…

No. You can be sent home for dress code issues what world do you live in? I live in the United States of America, and having pokey nips is not a dress code violation in any sane/legal business here, and any employee denied a job or punished for it would be grounds for a lawsuit. She would not make a reasonable impression on an interview and might be sent home in a workplace. How does it affect the woman if people know she isn't wearing a bra under a dress shirt? Yes, wearing a sports bra for jogging might be a need (some smaller breasted women may be able to get away with just a compression shirt), but that's a natural consequence of biology. I'm sure there are things only men pay for due to their biology as well.

I would be interested in implementing a review system just to see what happens to the app. Better yet, have two Tinders. One without the review function, and one with the review function. I'm curious how many people would actually use the one with the review function, knowing that despite they're ability to judge other people, they will also be judged. Yes, no one wants to date a fat, socially retarded, minimum wage working dum dum. Incels/femcels think they're worth more than each other. They want to grab someone from a higher part of the ladder, without having to pull their own fat asses up there first.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/18 01:05 AM

If this review function was ever added, they should also add the ability for other people to see your reviews of other people. If you see someone who only leaves 1's and 5's (on a 1-5 scale), their reviews are black and white, and they have no nuance, that means they're probably really immature and should be avoided.

99% of the reviews will be "this person is bad". A good tinder date will mostly likely result in a relationship, and therefore them leaving Tinder. This will produce a phenomena where a person will have multiple bad reviews, one good review, and they're no longer on Tinder because they're in a relationship with that one person who gave them the good review. Edit: Also, once someone learns they were given a bad review, they'll just get petty and leave a bad review back.

What do I need to know about that person? What I said could be attributed to anyone. If you've got the physical attractiveness and a good personality, then the man is much more likely to commit.

There's more to a good personality than being "easy-going". Maybe he thought you weren't ambitious enough. Maybe you have some annoying habits. Maybe he doesn't think you're nurturing enough. Maybe he doesn't think you're interesting enough. Maybe he thinks you're too boring. Whatever the reason might be, if you met his bar of physical attractiveness and that still wasn't enough to get him to stick around, then it was your personality that was lacking.

If you are against marriage, why? Are your reasons only for you, or do you think they apply to all men? Permanent Alimony is still a thing, and I don't agree with the pro arguments of "keeping up a lifestyle" and "can't re-enter the workforce". Prenups can be thrown out in court. Divorces can be expensive, and can last a long time. There is a lot of bias regarding the value of marriage. The people in a happy marriage think it's the best thing ever. Would the solution for men be to "date within their own lane" then? How does a man know what lane he is in?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/18 12:38 AM

I would argue that "remove your dick" is impossible since sexual attraction is closely tied to emotional bonding and romance. A boyfriend/husband who initiates sex less than his girlfriend/wife results in a woman who feels emotionally broken and romantically voided. A man who seeks a LTR would still need to be sexually attracted to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/18 10:53 PM
2

I would agree that the male drive to fuck is more immediate and primal than a woman's drive to procreate, but from a strategic point of view, it would actually be in her favor to lean towards a more proactive approach to dating, as opposed to a passive one. By only considering the men that approach you, you're mechanically implying that only those men are potentially good long-term partners, which we intellectually know is false, and deliberately shrinking your own dating pool.

"I guess this makes sense for me" could mean initiating with a man who is working towards his career and bettering his personality, who might not have time to deliberately engage in dating. They could be prime target for a woman looking for long-term stability, instead of constantly swiping off the horde of supposedly thirsty low value men.

How can you say it's not hard to read body language if all women are different? You say "body language" like women are giving men greens or reds based on whether or not their hands are on their hips or if their arms are crossed. Your body language could simply mean that one of your feet went numb so you chose to shift the weight onto the other foot. One woman's "i don't want to be bothered" pose, could be another woman's "i want attention" pose.

If women had all the power, men would still have an incentive to contribute, because they still want to live. They would still be required to give something back. Black women don't have to just date black men either. POC communities usually have a large hispanic and asian population as well.

Women aren't stronger, but they are more competent, and they're slowly taking over male dominated fields. Meanwhile, men are refusing to move into traditionally female dominated workplaces like healthcare, and thus defaulting to low skill low wage jobs. Men would rather shoot themselves in the foot than take on perceived feminine jobs.

Black women in these neighborhoods don't have the time and financial power to adequately care for their children since their biological fathers are absent. A community in which black women are in control of the surrounding businesses, and in which men stay at home, would fix this.

Well, a shitty personality it always annoying, but a problem that takes precedence over that, are the desperate people who take the bait and run with it. If there's something you can do to improve your dating life, like leaving people with shitty personalities, then do it. If you stick with someone with a shitty personality, then it's your fault.

Men on the other hand, rated most women average, with an equal amount of women below average and above average. Men swiped right 47% of the time. Men are more charitable and reasonable when it comes to physical attraction, while women are more crit…

Victimhood Complex : Everything negative in her life is the fault of others, not the result of her own bad decisions. Complainer/Venting: Every other sentence is how something annoyed her. I'm her emotional punching bag. Bitterness: Your failures are showing. Entitlement: Expecting me to be her white knight, or her freudian daddy. Negging: Attempting to lower my self-esteem to tempt me into chasing her. Boring: Self-explanatory.

I disagree. Fat. Unmotivated. Unfunny. Unintelligent. Useless. Poor No woman wants the man above, regardless of where she comes from. Fit. Motivated. Funny. Intelligent. Useful. Rich. This aforementioned man is 100% more attractive than the former man. If you are funnier, smarter, useful, motivated, healthier, and wealthier, you will be objectively, unquestionably more attractive to women EVERYWHERE. And here's the good news. You can be better at all those things I've listed.

Would you prefer men complain about women in an "empowered feminist way"? Every time a woman comments about a man's body, "sexual objectification!" or "body shaming!". Every time a woman vents to her boyfriend/husband, "emotional labor!". Every time a woman says something negative about a man, "misandry!". Every time a woman puts her bag on a seat, forcing someone else to stand up "woman-bagging!". Every time a woman explains something to a man, "femsplaining!". I would like to see men complain …

Men just need to complain about women through feminist lingo. Let's throw the vernacular back at them. They'll realize real quick how stupid this shit is.

Interesting. IME, women typically unload on everyone, and men just accept the emotional labor of their complaining as a part of life, while women feel the need to go online and start ranting about "emotional labor from men", while at the same time complaining that "men don't express themselves enough". I don't know what women want.

So which is it women? Is your boyfriend/husband too closed off? Is he too emotionally draining? Does he need to vent more, or vent less? It seems more to me like you gals are just looking for another excuse to complain. It would be interesting if men got on the emotional labor thing. Every time a woman puts emotional labor on him, he tells the internet about it. It would be an endless stream.

Then why isn't emotional labor a constant talking point in the manosphere, as opposed to the femsphere? If you search up "emotional labor" in the search bar for askmen and askwomen respectively, you'll find two results in askmen, and seven in askwomen. Also, "emotional labor" is a term used much more in feminism and femme oriented forums, as opposed to male oriented forums. Both women and men endure emotional labor, but women seem to complain about it more. Which is odd, considering one criticis…

I wonder why men don't complain about emotional labor. I see it happening to my male friends all the time. We'll be out trying to have fun, and then out of the blue, a girl will start laying into the guy about someone or something that annoyed her some time ago, and his face instantly drains of color, and he instinctively starts nodding and agreeing, as if this situation has happened dozens of times before. Are we supposed to put up with it because we're supposed to be this obelisk of stoicism?

The problem with the "just talk to more women" advice, is that some men don't even know how to approach women, and even if they get passed that, they don't know how to carry on a conversation with women.

Another way to word this question. "Is there an appropriate place to flirt with a woman, that isn't explicitly meant for dating?" Honest Answer: There is no place to flirt, where a woman couldn't feel harassed. In the grocery store, at a gym, a recreational center, the sidewalk, etc; there will always be a woman that will think it's inappropriate. Hell, women on dating sites feel harassed just by the number of messages they get.

Women are not entitled to commitment, just as men are not entitled to sex. You engage in a one night stand, with the subtle unspoken hope it will lead to a longer romantic relationship. The next day, he leaves, and never speaks to you again. Yes, your feelings are hurt, but you weren't entitled to that relationship. You weren't entitled to his commitment. Not entirely different from a guy who pays for everything on a first date, is very respectful, and then he doesn't even get a kiss on the chee…

I think men could benefit immensely from this. A lot of what we do, consciously and unconsciously, stems from our biological inclination to procreate. Removing this inclination will force men to find peace and purpose afar from women, and therefore, women will no longer be able to use men through sex/romance.

Women have the right to be dumb too, and I think this is to the advantage of men. When a woman freely expresses herself, she's basically showing you all her cards. Is she an alcoholic? Yes? Pass. Is she lazy? Yes? Pass. Is she a slob? Yes? Pass. Take women's freedom as a resource for you to weed out the undesirable ones.
