The word tone is basically a pure marketing word that's targeted toward women. Like eatplaycrush said it's extremely difficult for a woman to get 'buff'. A lot of males have the same mindset too! They think if they do a deadlift or a squat they will become like Brock Lesnar overnight. It's really not that easy. To get that large you need steroids and to eat a painful amount of food (and obviously to lift hard). Then you have to cut weight for definition.

Weight classes exist to give the smaller guys a chance at a fair fight. That is given that both participants are equally skilled and well trained. From the 125 pound guys to the 250+ lb guys any of the UFC caliber ones would wipe the floor with the average male. What might seem like a base, innate attraction can come from cultural conditioning. For example, in some countries 'nerdiness' is seen as an okay thing whereas in America most women would be highly turned off by it.

Hmm... according to the wikipedia entry on attractiveness shorter women have a higher chance of being married. Also in Japan being a tall(ish) woman is seen as a bad thing.

interesting that so many short girls have height inferiority complexes and if you're under 25, you can still grow. eat a lot of protein esp steak. sleep a lot and be active/do sports but don't lift weights. there's no evidence for this

So if you go to the Netherlands almost all males are hot? (avg height is over 6 foot) Or do you think you would just get used to tall (average) males and height wouldn't be a factor anymore? I personally don't see a link between height and masculinity. I think it's an ancient connection in the brain where taller people would be better with spears or something. Any of the UFC 125 lb guys (usually under 5'6) would absolutely destroy the average 6'0+ guy in a fight.

I don't usually need to break skates in after sharpening, but I used this as an excuse to do a couple of quick laps around the ice, which was suggested on here on another post to DHV. Nobody "negs", his 'method' is completely taken out of context. It's supposed to be used with 'HB10's' in a club environment. The only reason he is famous because he wrote a book and the mainstream media covered it. Nobody at all follows the mystery method in PUA communities.

Her rejection is more of a reflection of her insecurity than anything else. Personally I'd just say meh and go for some other girl. She is associating height with social value which is simply put, a mistake.
