1	33 Years of Marriage Wasted Consider getting an irrevocable living trust. . It won’t protect everything but it can offer a ton better protection than a pre-nup. Homes, cars, investment accounts. As long as you can show that assets weren’t put into it solely to keep a spouse from getting them. ie:several years before a divorce, track record of putting new purchases into a trust.
