1	Woman tries to hold phone ransom I’m not sure that changes anything. I’m not complaining about her criminal record. I’m lamenting the law that would place someone in prison for extorting another person out of $150. It seems draconian. I’m all for crime and punishment. I happen to believe the punishment should fit the crime. If she were given a fine or even probation for something like this...then...okay, so be it. But possible imprisonment...?
