What will end up happening - women will try it, realize there aren’t as many women uber drivers and pickup takes too long, then they’ll go back to not using the filter. Either way, it’s sexist and I hope uber faces fines in court

We don’t have any shortage of people where biological factors would matter.

He probably means he’s not woke. I’m on the left. I think capitalism has been destroying the middle class since Reagan. With AI coming for most white collar jobs and eventually blue collar jobs as well, we need to find another way to run the economy. On the other hand, I respect LGBT people and have friends that are in that group, but I don’t need it shoves down my throat. I support equality for men and women, but I hate feminism. I support the right to have an abortion, but I’d have a very hard…

Are you still her friend. I think I’d cut ties with someone with that level of morality.

My previous girlfriend was bi. One of my best friends was gay. The amount of hate she had for him because he was gay was appalling. LGBT people aren’t even their own allies. She was 100% homophobic.

You’re delusional if you think you’ve got it all figured out. You could do everything right and it won’t matter sometimes. Just how it is.

It’s like how girl scouts are fine. But Boy Scouts, well… they need to let girls in and rebrand their name.

A lot? I’m mid 30s so no idea how common this is becoming. I’d like to think it’s just a minority of them with no shame doing that.

This is true. Plus the punishments aren’t the same. My cousin and her fiancé trafficked hard drugs. No priors. He’s been in prison for 5 years already, she wasn’t in there for more than a few months. Both equally involved and both in the car when they got caught. And even worse, both left their kids home alone while they moved their product, with hard drugs sitting around (added child endangerment charges). The judicial system goes far too light on women when they are every bit as much involved.…

I don’t think it’s just because we’re stronger. I actually think it’s because there’s more pressure on men. A large proportion of crimes are money motivated. There’s so much pressure on men to have money (in order to get women), to provide for their family, etc. When a man’s back is against a wall he commits crimes (sells drugs, robberies, etc). When a woman’s back is against a wall, she strips, does onlyfans, sells her body. Men don’t have a legal calling card to bail them out from rock bottom …
