To play devils advocate, how can you have equality of opportunity if a subset of the population has built in advantages that give them greater access to opportunity? I think that’s the great philosophical argument people are trying to figure out. Just because we are given a piece of paper for our time doesn’t mean we are free and sure you can choose not to participate but then you starve and die. Regulation and social spending lead to increased prosperity which then ends in calls for deregulation which crashes the system. Deregulation effects take years to show, they’re not immediate. 4	Sanity Sunday on true equality Because it's a violation of my personal space, it's someone taking control of my space and my body and exerting power over me.
