To play devils advocate, how can you have equality of opportunity if a subset of the population has built in advantages that give them greater access to opportunity? I think that’s the great philosophical argument people are trying to figure out. One side sees the issue and says that those advantages need to be eliminated to ensure everyone has the same opportunity. 2	Literally Hitler... But if you look at the history it’s the deregulation that actually caused collapses. Regulation and social spending lead to increased prosperity which then ends in calls for deregulation which crashes the system. Deregulation effects take years to show, they’re not immediate. Want proof, wait a few years for the next collapse caused by our current deregulation and tax cut push.
