No. All love is conditional, in my opinion.

…and when you get into an argument, you will constantly be compared to all the worst parts of the ex(es).

I’ve had to take this - as well as what my company has called “unconscious bias training” - recently.

See that you’re putting your perspective out there but I completely disagree with the sentiment expressed in your comment.

Currently in a long term relationship, and will take heed to tour warnings here. My partner has said they “can never trust another person again,” which makes me believe there is some semblance of projection. Going to keep myself safe and pay attention to my needs from now on.

The only point I was trying to make is that stuff like this isn’t new, and will likely not be overturned or dissipated anytime soon.

This does not surprise me. I live in Colorado - one of the few states in the USA in which common law marriage is still a thing. This isn’t “getting crazy;” these laws have been in place for a very long time (at least where I am), and will likely not go away anytime soon.

I’d also like to add that biology lends towards women naturally feeling more content around other people. Generally, men are less “people centric” than women.

I knew I like this sub lol. I absolutely value these qualities; you’re so right on that statement. To be honest, it’s funny because I can’t say I know what my partner values in me. Hmm...
/r/MGTOW07/08/20 09:47 PM

That’s pretty vile. Not only is it not a problem, some people feel like the boy/man needs to be “congratulated” for being harassed... as if it’s something he should feel lucky about. I have had my fair share of extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable situations like that, and I would not wish it on anyone. Just because you’re a dude doesn’t mean that part of your mind and heart are not hurt after encounters like that.

Have you also noticed that many responses to this idea are often “well yeah but they make memes of crying women too!”?
/r/MGTOW24/07/20 08:28 PM

This is an excellent suggestion, and I absolutely agree. It seems like this particular topic is always presented as a facet of another problem and not typically presented as a problem of its own. Thank you!!

Have you also perhaps considered that because she is no longer able to work due to this BS quarantine that she is trying to make herself useful to compensate for the face she cannot currently contribute to her relationship (financially) in the way as before? Sorry to be devil's advocate, but I don't see how this means "equality is out the window." I mean if you think about it, and the boyfriend lost his means of financially contributing to the relationship, don't you think that he'd also "scramb…

Fuck that. First of all, gross. Second, being drunk is absolutely no excuse to be disgusting like that. Alcohol lowers inhibitions, but you're still you, and may be a bit more brazen--thus actually verbalizing or acting upon things that you've already been thinking about saying or doing. Not to mention that this is a "friend" that texts her often. He's obviously more than that.

Came here to say this. So many women “wonder where the sensitive and emotional men are,” yet when they come into contact with a man vulnerable enough to actually express his human emotions, they’re suddenly put off by the concept.

I’ll take it a step further and say that the ideology can be (and sometimes is) forced upon the child - i.e., the decision is made by a parent (which are by and large mothers) - simply because they decide to play with stereotypically feminine toys, for example. These parents (again, usually mothers) seem to be virtue signaling to a degree because by “supporting” their child’s curiosity or whatever, they’re “progressive” and far above any other person or parent because look! I’m supportive of a m…

She did say they hadn’t been intimate, yeah. I mean you’re right, there shouldn’t be any reason he couldn’t just stop going on dates with her, but it doesn’t necessarily mean she’s not being verbally abusive at times. I guess we can’t truly say without all the info, but I see what you’re saying.
/r/MensRights21/01/20 09:34 PM

I agree for the most part, but we don’t know exactly what she means when she says she’s “being mean” to him other than insulting him. I understand the term abuse has been watered down in some regard, but I also wouldn’t want to dismiss the idea that she may in fact be verbally abusive (for example) toward the guy.

Not to mention that it is ILLEGAL to pay someone less based on the Equal Pay Act of 1963. As we all know, most women make less money because they choose to work less. This idea that men are somehow elevated in the workplace simply because they are men is ridiculous.

Yikes that sounds painful. And incredibly annoying.
/r/MGTOW16/12/19 12:52 AM

To take this a step further, I’m pretty sure there are statistics out there that support the notion men are more loyal to their female partners in long term relationships or marriages. AND men less often lose the desire or lust for that same partner after years upon years in the relationship, whereas women more often lose interest in many aspects of the relationship. Not all, obviously, but many.

Every human being has the same capacity for a positive, successful life. It’s due to the of compounding results of every single decision made throughout the course of each day. Most women I know in my life do not take responsibility (at least not FULL responsibility) for every single one of the choices they make. They accept none, or only partial, responsibility for their actions. In doing so, they place blame on others. This is why many women find men at fault for all their own problems. At lea…

Throughout this man’s divorce, I can only imagine the ex wife demonized him to their children and turned them against their father to add salt to his wound. I know there are “unicorns” out there, so to speak, but fucking hell so many women are downright vile when they want to be. This is so sad.

Absolutely disgusting. What’s more is that this is only one of MANY tactics used by women in custody battles when they feel like their case is in danger of flopping. One of my personal favorites was one I experienced during my own parents’ divorce - my mother accused my father of heinous violence toward her and myself (and siblings) to gain favor with the judge.

I've watched this video a couple of times; Bettina Arndt is an awesome woman. The clip within the interview that is actually Ilan's video brought tears to my eyes. If no one has seen it already, I'd also recommend looking up his video titled "A Letter to My Son." It's beautiful, as well.

Okay wow. Listen, I’m sorry if you’ve been personally affected by something like that, but the point of my comment was to add light humor to the satire that was OP’s screenshot. Having an option to remove oneself from the prospect of parenthood via vasectomy is where my point originated.
/r/MensRights01/11/19 10:17 PM

While I understand that everyone has their preferences, the way many women consider height a requirement for a potential mate is entitled as F. I’m sure we’ve all seen the personal bios of women who won’t even speak to a dude under 6 feet. I know others have said it, but height isn’t something that can be changed. Weight can.
