Wise words "the decision is about what makes you happy ', yet some stay in miserable relationships from fear of being alone.

Why then he said on the original post that he wanted to marry too. He should have been clear since the get go so she could have made a decision. I am not ready nor want to get married again. Then she can take it or leave it.

The best "revenge" is to move on with your life, and do the best you can to be happy. No one is worth your happiness. When you are very old and look back you will be glad you didn't sacrificed one more minute of your happiness for another person. Only our kids are worthy of that, IMO!

You too will become used to freedom and revel in the peace it brings, and you will quickly exclude toxic people who intrude on that peace 💯! I couldn't agree more to this statement

I think as long as they feel loved and protected by both parents they will have a happy childhood. It's better to be happy separated and they see each of you happy than together constantly fighting and in a toxic relationship. Not fair for them nor you. Best example for them is to also set the ground to be true to themselves and find their happiness. That will serve them better as adults. Wish you the best!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
