It's hilarious. 23 year old me would have creamed at this commie chick. A decade later, I don't even scroll down to the text to know to stay away.

Your tautologies notwithstanding, best to just drop this and focus on analyzing the hypergamy, then!

No, objective morals come from a cumulative and comprehensive framework of the evolutionary imperatives relating to altruism, empathy, order, and maintaining other values. It all asymptotically approaches objectivity. We can't pick and choose the parts we like from evolutionary biology (hypergamy) and discard the ones that rub us the wrong way (evolved altruism).

Still sounds like an emotional appeal. It's a bug, not a feature, that most humans crave authority and dictates instead of logically approaching conclusions about acting ethically and taking responsibility and working hard.

Not trying to keep a brother down. Like I said, great write-up. There's just too much emotional/non-logical appeal to the supernatural in red pill circles and I wish we all could see more clearly. Be well!

Relying on some deity framework and thinking morality isn't evolutionarily-based is the biggest appeal to a Big Daddy State bailout of all time.

Shame is a sub-optimal but useful social tool--it's partly the foundation of this whole sub. I love you.

lol "God" get a grip. Otherwise good write-up that doesn't deny biology.

You're cute if you think atheist men don't have a reason to take risks and a purpose for having children in a strong, healthy family environment.

I'm 30 and my gf turned 26 right before I met her. If she were some east or west coaster, she would have been far-gone. But she's from the midwest, so there are enough traditional qualities there for me to keep it going.

Just include some sci-fi elements in the last bit and you've got yourself a true dystopian blockbuster.

Not sure about some of the comments here, OP. Honor is just a word we use to best describe actions that seem loyal or consistent, but it doesn't really exist. Morality relates to how we interact with each other, and honesty is usually a good rule-of-thumb (there are instances where it's not). Read 'Lying' by Sam Harris. You could have said something witty and dominant and within frame but still without saying the lie of "Yes I think she looks good without makeup". It's a practiced skill. I have …

Holy shit, OP, you've described an extremely similar 'realization' to my own throughout this past year...

Been lurking here, but your post really resonates with me. I got by a good deal with girls from being moderately good-looking and knowing how to work charm (mostly in a BP sense, though). My father and mother are very traditional but my mother has an undiagnosed disorder, likely BPD, which may have contributed to my personality, along with bullies and other such nonsense as an adolescent. Mix in trauma with multiple disordered trainwreck girlfriends, and there you go. I don't know what it's like…
