For me, the real burn is the fact that these people don't understand (or don't care that) they may be wrecking someones life and career over nothing. It comes from a place of pettiness and imagined slights, and they swing the biggest weapon (oftentimes a sexual charge) without thinking or caring about who's at the other end. I would take Equal Rights Activism and put a "we're all people and human beings first" spin to it. I prefer to think of it as a change of tact when you're talking to folks to better advocate men's rights. Using it to get past some of peoples automatic prejudice to make it easier for them to see what you're arguing without firing that prejudice up and having it get in your way. Trust me, I know all about the lack of male advocate groups, I'm just seeking a better way to illuminate people to the lack of MR's in the world.
