It’s sad you’ve decided that is your fate. As long as you know you chose that life.

If you only other options rotting alone, then that is what you should do. All the single women I know are happy that way. If you aren’t happy with yourself, you need to fix that long before you think of dating.

She was clearly uncomfortable trying to play off an assault while her boyfriend did nothing to help her out of a touchy situation. The guy assaulting her is doing so in a seemingly playful way, and she is trying to play off the danger with uncomfortable laughter. The assaulting man is doing this because he thinks he can. It’s a dominance move and she is just collateral damage. She should find a man who wouldn’t let a man disrespect her like that

Men seem mad that women are starting to support each other, and blame women because men aren’t supporting each other.

I think a lot of it is that men can run rampant so they think this is innate. Men can control themselves. They don’t have to so it becomes an addiction they can feed in many ways. If women were given sexual freedom from shaming/judgement in society on par with men, we may be just as feral.

What kind of girls are you trying to get? Most men feel like they “deserve” a beautiful woman and focus their attention and energy where there is going to be little reciprocation of interest. There are so many women out there who would overlook looks if the men did the same.

Is your dating history mostly on apps? Have you tried asking for help on your profile? Having an uninvolved 3rd party give advice may help. For a while I was quite regularly helping some of the regulars at the bar I worked at. They’d complain of their lack of interest on the dating apps, and often I’d see red flags in their profile right off the bat, or take a look through their choices and see the problem. There are things you can’t hide or lie about (political stance, age, kids), but there are…

I’m an emotionally healthy, successful adult who doesn’t deal with loneliness. I don’t care if anyone takes what I say to heart. You are chronically online and probably young. You do you

Women aren’t all dressing to lure a man. Many just love dressing that way. Don’t date those women. Find women to date that are as you want them to be already. Don’t change women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/23 02:07 AM

Do not worry for a second what men think. If a man doesn’t like you having a job, run.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 03:17 PM

The discourse helps in that if such words are uttered (“body count”), I know immediately there is a lack of emotional maturity and intelligence- so I can steer very clear of the Neanderthals.

This is highly focused on the value of a woman being solely a vessel for men’s children. I would have focused on the greater expense of just being a woman (pink tax, having to purchase hundreds of products men never have to use), and the safety risk women have.

Well. Looking back on my relationships and the start of them….. I can’t see this being even slightly true, or a good indication of interest. If you want to know how she feels, look at the follow up. I have had plenty of passionate kisses that I didn’t want to even get a text from the next day. In the moment (especially if on a date with drinks or an adventure), you get caught up in all the ephemera. Once you escape and mull things over, that’s when true interest in anything real is discovered. B…

It is difficult for me to connect with how men value things. Money and sports seem to be the metrics by which they compare themselves, and money by how they see women’s worth.

So nice you had to comment twice? Princess types are a hard no for you, but what type is a hard yes? From my observations, princess types are what men want- but hate everything about.

Would you take into account if a woman had children? What about financial/emotional abuse. Do you see it as the woman’s fault for falling for it? I don’t agree with a lot of aspects of alimony so I’m not trying to provoke, but I am curious to see where nuance comes into play for others.

It isn’t equally as serious. There are no health complications from buying someone dinner. The dangers and intimacy are not even closely comparable. Being lied to long enough to be used for sex is a mindfuck and horrific for emotional health. Buying dinner and not getting to penetrate someone is just not on par. Don’t buy dinner. Don’t buy anything. Be that guy… whatever. I pay my own way just because it’s become such a sore point for whiny people not nuanced enough to understand the give and ta…

I didn’t even bother to read the rest of the post but I just want to acknowledge that yea, we do have the upper hand, I wouldn’t say we aren’t as horny but certainly not as single minded, and we don’t really care anymore about how you perceive to value us. We live longer and happier alone. It’s not a secret any longer and internalized misogyny is fading out, so we don’t judge each other on being single anymore. We make lives better by adding value. Hopefully, we will start dating each other and …

That men think that or that men actually are superior 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 08:09 PM

Men naturally think they are superior and the end game. They don’t see women as competition, and often believe bi women are bi to please or entice men. They just aren’t threatened from the start. Now…. after dating awhile, men dating bi women definitely get scared or threatened by women. So I think it’s just blind indifference towards women
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/23 07:35 PM

I used to think that bi men were just on the way to gay, and I was scared I as a woman would be inevitably dumped. Now I understand the spectrum. I also see other relationship types where there is a spectrum on monogamy/open. I am in my 40s, and growing up there weren’t any relationships that deviated from the norm that I saw in my day to day. So now that I am a full grown adult, I find openly bi men insanely attractive.

Many ways. It’s made many men terrible lovers (porn sex isn’t satisfying for female anatomy). I don’t know if men even realize the disconnect. Ever increasing sexual fetishes. Violent acts normalized and expected. Failure to reach completion unless narrower and narrower criteria are met. Erectile distinction. That’s just the sex stuff. The way it has affected how men see women in everyday life is insane and worrisome. We are more and more objectified than ever. We are sex objects first, human se…

I feel your pain. As a woman dating I feel the men have been ruined by obesity as well. But unfortunately what’s worse is they are all sexually messed up. Porn and porn addiction has had me lose all hope a normal, healthy sexual relationship even happening. People can lose weight- but the porn seems a permanent problem.

So your protocol is: this reinforces what I want to think, and I can post a link and own the naysayers 😂 For real though- you know that is a biased ADVERTISEMENT with financial gain in hyping you up. Future advise for an actual protocol- if the source has blatant financial interest, it’s at best, a starting point. If within the first paragraph they use the word “theoretically “, they are likely using your bias and emotion to control and benefit from you.

Hookup/relationship are interchangeable when it comes to approaching a woman you are friends with for anything outside friendship. Just don’t do it. It is so disappointing when a “friend” suddenly reveals a romantic interest. There is a sense of betrayal that almost always comes with an ‘ick’ factor. I don’t have time now, but look into women’s perspectives when friends ask them out. I’m sure someone could explain it better than myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/22 01:15 AM

Don’t ask your friends out! Let people know you want to be set up. Your friends are friends, not potential hookups. If you suddenly ask one to have sex with you, you will absolutely be “that guy”.

So… I was going to to just shake my head and scroll because I thought it was another angsty teenage boy disillusioned after entering the real world, and realizing no one wants to suck his dick and continue worshiping him as his mother did (these are two separate things men expect upon adulthood). Then, clicked on the profile and saw greying hair- and remembered… Reddit. The dichotomy between genders is vast. I have been deconstructing it all since I started raising my son. And this is why I no longer date men. I had hoped it was immaturity due to actual young age, but unfortunately this mindset is spreading and so many are infected with it. I have money. More than enough. Wallets bore me. I am sick of being only a sexual object. I get men “have it rough nowadays” but they really don’t. So what you don’t get sex? Go pay? I don’t get respect and fidelity and unfortunately you can’t buy that.

While googling easy stats, look into the happiness levels of women married with kids versus single. Look into death rates (women married die younger, but married men live longer than their single counterparts). Check out studies on the current state of affairs for men and women (with women being in the workforce). I am not a man, but as a woman- no I will not risk getting married.

I’m relatively older than the average active user on here (female in my 40s). I have the benefit of experience, and a breadth of knowledge from many men my age sharing their struggles. Please consider what I have to say. Porn is addictive. Like any addiction, some can handle a little bit and many get into an unhealthy headspace (which more often than not affects them physically). I am not against men looking at instagram or some porn. It’s when it gets to an obsession or starts affecting other p…

Please, for the love of everything sacred, do not have a kid. I regret doing so- not because my kid isn’t amazing, but because he deserves better than the world we have now. It’s selfish to have a kid, especially in the US (in my opinion and I fully judge myself as well). Climate change is real and happening, the rights of all are crumbling, and the school systems (as well as mental health institutions) are DISMAL. No generational wealth will exist in a decade or two with our insurance scam syst…

It’s been ingrained in us since birth that that was the goal. And when society decided to fuck over EVERYBODY and make single household income impossible to live off of, we had to maintain the house workload, while also adding full time careers to it. Women who want families above all else take a man on. It wasn’t until my dad out of nowhere said that he didn’t care if I got married, that I realized I actually didn’t want to get married as a goal. I wanted to comfort him and live up to his expec…

Why are you expecting women to lower their standards a little bit but no mention of men not upping their game a little bit? I am not dating men because it ADDS significant work to my life. Typically, and many studies have been done on this, women makes mens life better/easier. But men make women’s lives shorter and more stressful. I never see what work men are doing to be better partners. Not better men, not stronger/more in shape, not wealthier. But better partners. It just isn’t appealing to t…

You can pay them to romance you. And validation only comes from sex? I don’t understand- I’m saying that if you take sex out of the equation, men will date honestly, and women will feel more secure.

But what about the contrast in (sexual) needs with men? Wouldn’t that help dating for long term relationships? If people had a legal ethical sexual outlet, then it’s possible they would resort less to predatory or disingenuous behavior. There would still be the pathological predators, but for the every day guy- it could be a useful tool as we try to bridge the genders

Well the surest way to avoid being raped is to avoid being born- imagine if you had a 100% chance of never being raped wouldn’t you chose to never live, and avoid the raping?! Wth… I’m curious as to the source of that statistic, but not saying you are wrong. I don’t have an opinion on drinking- but your statement has a victim blaming feeling. The problem always comes down to women. Why is it always their fault? If more men would hold other men accountable-privately but more importantly publicly,…

Personal experience of myself and two sisters- all chose not to have children. I’m the only one that “caved” and it is one and done for me. I waited until my 30s, we’ll… wait isn’t the right word. I truly did not want children as I think it is selfish and narcissistic to have kids nowadays. Especially multiples. We saw the way the world was moving, and didn’t want to bring an innocent dependent into it. I’m in the US, so healthcare/childcare/schools/division of labor are all a joke. Also, people…

In my experience as an observer- men envision a relationship with women out of their league. Sure, the asshole predators get a lot of action, but at the cost of immoral and abusive manipulation tactics. Take them out of the equation and the level playing field…it’s mostly guys pining for an ideal of a woman, not seeking a partnership. I’ve tried to counsel so many single guys and all too often, there was a major mental block there that wouldn’t let them see certain realities. I’m sure there are …

I stopped dating voluntarily over 3 years ago. I am a self sufficient woman in her early 40s. Attractive enough to know that it is most certainly my choice to not be dating. I do not see the benefits of being in a relationship outweighing the negatives. The benefits I would feel I was missing would be: Social stigma lifted. Most of my friends are happily married or have a significant other. It’s been years of awkward team or couple events. I’m perfectly content but others seem to more uncomforta…

I understand your frustration- and I do believe MOST men are the same (in that sex is the dominant desire in a relationship). There are good men out there. There are great men out there. My dad is the epitome of a good guy. He has had women clamoring for him before marrying my mom and after her death. It made him uncomfortable and he is very careful in his relationships (quality over quantity). I believe the reason I haven’t been able to commit to marriage, and neither have my sisters- is becaus…
