I understand that some men may have some insecurities regarding women's past sexual partners in comparison to themselves but it's better for them to take responsibility for how they feel rather than acting like the woman is at fault. I don't know, it seems like you're implying that "the prize that men value" is only sex, and not companionship, shared hobbies/values, mutual care, and other important things that you can experience in a relationship. The way I look at it is life is full of many different types of joys that can give you happiness but in different forms. The feeling I get from eating my favorite meal isn't the same feeling I get from listening to my favorite song or when I'm driving through the city at sunset, and so on.
