Because when you are married to a man who makes the bacon, you have the luxury to be lazy and get an easy job that lets you leave work early to pick up the kids from school.

Women don't work as hard as men, because they don't have to. Many of them get the luxury to pick an easy job that pays less because they have husband who brings home the bacon.
