but "believe women" is just another poorly phrased appeal to a core group The left absolutely sucks at messaging: Believe women Defund the police Black Lives Matter But I don't understand why we can't take it somewhat as it's intended and not its literal phrasing. Only crazy people would actually argue that "Believe Women" literally means don't investigate the full context, as you seem to be suggesting? If you are, you're arguing against a strawman. I mean, false rape allegations absolutely do h…

Yeah, like the other poster said, you're taking this too literally. "Believe women" means that the likelihood of them making something up is far outweighed by the likelihood that something actually happened. It doesn't mean you just take their word for it. Also, we need to stop criminalizing men's naked bodies. FFS, a flaccid penis isn't a deadly weapon.

You're not only correct about the insurance companies, but this woman didn't claim anything because she was a woman. This sub often devolves to "bad thing happens to woman" instead of ppd.

I don't know about "the single best," but the harshness of the anti-abortion legislation is going to hurt conservative women as well. No exemptions for rape, incest, or health of the mother? Women and girls across the board will suffer, yet far-right women cheer it as a victory even though the majority of the country sees such exemptions as reasonable.

A non-masculine approach might involve better public consultation and an effort by authorities to understand community attitudes prior to planning. Wtf does this even mean?

Yeah, I saw that too, and Fran gives enough examples to make me believe she actually read at least a good part of the book. OP said that no one had read the book. I also think it's unlikely that Fran read the book today so this incident has probably been going on for some time now, not just today during his break. Finally, OP days that the advice in the book is completely innocuous, whereas Fran says there's a lot of PUA-type stuff in there. I am not saying I completely believe Fran over OP, but…

that thinks that you have to help everyone at all times no matter how illogical This isn't white-knighting. White knighting is when you don't have a philosophy of helping everyone, you only help attractive women in the hopes that they'll be impressed and maybe date you. We could all use more helping each other out, but white-knighting is just pathetic.

Bullshit. I just checked. 2 medium cheese pizzas from Dominos: $23 same thing from Papa Johns: $23.98 This has to be one of the most hilarious interactions I've had on reddit. Either you are a really good troll (to which I say congratulations. You got me good) or you are one of the most pathetic liars I've encountered. I don't know which one, and honestly, I think it's better not knowing...one of life's funny little mysteries.

Your "facts" are objectively wrong!! They are no longer that cheap. They're more in line with Papa John's and Pizza Hut now. They no longer serve that same crappy product. They no longer have their "30 minutes or free" deal either, btw. That's what we've been telling you! You're objectively wrong because your opinions are based on a product that literally doesn't exist anymore. https://producthabits.com/dominos-pizza-drove-90x-increase-stock-value-acting-like-tech-startup/
/r/PussyPassDenied08/07/21 06:26 PM

You are objectively wrong but so insecure you can't just acknowledge it. It's really sad. Things change, and you have to be able to change with them. A company changed their product, and for some inexplicable reason, you are unable to reevaluate your previous (perhaps harsh but accurate) opinion. I hope you think about this. It's okay to change your opinion based on new facts. This is what I am fighting for. Not Domino's, but the willingness to adapt to new information.

You started off full of crap and ended the same way. I am absolutely flabbergasted that someone is so eager to fight and lie about something so stupid as Domino's pizza. I can't imagine how thick-headed you must be with issues that matter.
/r/PussyPassDenied08/07/21 03:13 AM
1

Correct. You made it up. As much as you hate their product, there is zero chance that you wouldn't notice how much their product has changed. Because you are absolutely correct about their old product. It was cheap and tasted like cardboard. The fact you don't know it's different now tells me your story is bullshit.

Im in the US, and I've seen it two ways in my experience: a birthday party or going out to dinner for someone's birthday. The former is usually a bigger affair, and the birthday person always provides food and usually drink, but sometimes they request BYOB. The latter is smaller, more casual, and usually everyone pays for themselves unless everyone agrees to pay for the birthday person.

I agree that it's difficult to define a percentage at which a belief starts to represent a group. 1%, definitely not. 10%, somewhat? 25%, most likely. I think so too. Retaliation was completely justified. These are all people that all men should learn about, because they're on the forefront of anti-feminism in 2019. Some because of their traditionalism, some just because they can see through the bullshit. Come back to reality, my man. The vast majority, if not all, of the false accusations I've seen include some motivation on the part of the woman: revenge, deflecting blame after cheating, being slighted in some way, etc. As a rule, women don't just go around calling the police for no reason whatsoever. Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? No.

What? Even if he did make a sexual comment toward her, that doesn't justify inventing assault allegations against him out of whole cloth. I'm just saying that I seriously doubt that this man helped her for two hours and out of nowhere and with no provocation whatsoever, she accuses him of assault. Does that really seem likely to you?

"It is what it is" is called a tautology, something that says the same thing twice in different words. "Be the change you want" is not a tautology because it only says one thing once. See? I'm not sure why this is so difficult for you to understand. As far a me being the change I want, I took time out of my day to try to help a mentally handicapped person increase their knowledge, and I'll never regret that. Can you be a bit more specific? I'm not sure I follow your point. I mean, in the end it's the woman who has to abort the fetus or carry it to term. This is not a case where the roles are equal and we can apply the same standards to both members of the couple.

I don't disagree. I say the planet is overpopulated already so we should abort most pregnancies. Edit: And yes, I know where I am. So you know you should leave. I know nothing of the sort. My version of MGTOW does not include delusional generalizations of women, any more than I tolerate stupid generalizations of us by women.

I have a feeling you're not kidding, which is sad. It's also wrong. There have been many amazing women throughout history, not just men: Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, Amelia Earhart (sp?), Harriet Tubman, Elizabeth I, Cleopatra, Mary Shelley, just to name a few. Edit: And yes, I know where I am. Wanting to GYOW doesn't mean all women are bad.

So your method of "seduction" is to stare at enough women that one finally finds it flattering and talks to you? That's really something.

There are certainly cultural differences in beauty, but this is all nonsense. The most beautiful aboriginal would not be heinous, and being the best looking ugly chick does not make you attractive. Maybe it bumps you up a point on the scale, but that's it.

most sexist thing about women (modern) feminism There's no need to sweepingly bash women in general here. There are plenty of women who believe in personal responsibility. Sweeping generalizations don't help us. More people need to heed this. When you are the minority opinion, such as men's rights, you only give your opponents reason to dismiss you when go to stupid extremes. "Men's rights is just hateful misogynists" is a refrain I've heard too many times.

Obviously you haven't. They put on a COMPLETE MASK. It is not an enhancement. And that's the normal-level too, not the over-the-top version. What kind of women are you hanging out with? Yes, I have seen many women in varying degrees of makeup, and never have I not been able to recognize them. And you would be hard-pressed to argue that it's more than a simple enhancement. Some husbands never even see their wives without this first layer. It never comes completely off and they redo it first thing…

Exactly. That is preposterous, and so is the idea that makeup is any less so. Two wrongs don't make a right, nor do two idiotic ideas make a good one.

That's the best you can do? One comment on r/wifesharing? That's disappointing.

How many women have you seen without makeup? They are no longer recognisable. Dozens. And yes, they are totally recognizable. Why does it matter anyways if one is complete deception or partial deception? Because putting your best foot forward is a completely natural thing. You don't walk up to an employer and immediately divulge all your weaknesses do you? Of course not, you play up your strengths and downplay your weaknesses. Makeup taken to an extreme can be deception, but for the most part, i…

How on earth is this different to what women are doing to almost every man? They look COMPLETELY different without makeup on. One is recognizably the same person, and one isn't? I mean, this is one of those Ship of Theseus situations. How much makeup does it take before the person is no longer recognizable? Makeup, Spanx, padded bras...they're all meant to deceive, but it's not a bait and switch. On the other hand, if you're using someone else's picture on your profile, that's pretty clear, righ…

IMO, I think it's probably somewhere in between. Society values women's work less than men's so in general, careers/industries that are dominated by women are compensated less than men's. And then women continue to choose those professions. In contrast, society values men's lives less than women's so even if a job could be accomplished by a woman, they'll give it to a man. But in general, men continue to choose those jobs. That's not the tightest argument I've ever made, but I just feel like the…

Men choose dangerous jobs I don't necessarily disagree with that. Which is why I think that the gender pay gap is largely a non-issue. Women choose lower-paying jobs, and biologically, women have to have the babies if the family wants to procreate themselves. Those are the two largest contributors to whatever pay gap actually exists.

Not OP, but some people mention that men have the most dangerous jobs, and that men are expected to pay for a lot more.

I don't think you can separate the two. You act, they react. They act, you react. If they're putting their best foot forward, they're trying to impress you, to at least some degree. If you like their best foot, then you are impressed. But there are lots of people who do go to great lengths to try impress (huge bouquets on the first date), and there are people who do expect you to try to impress them (ask any guy who has been expected to pay for the entirety of a lavish and expensive date). Again…

my mindset is all about "what is she gonna do to impress ME?" It sounds like we had a simple miscommunication. I mean, "all about" does give a certain emphasis to your priorities, but it seems like that's not exactly what you meant. Cool.

I learned that SHE isn't perfect, SHE gets nervous too, we are both on an even playing field. Yes, and this is different from requiring her to impress YOU. That's exactly my point.

This changed the game for me and helped me cure my oneitis. I can go on a date now and my mindset is all about "what is she gonna do to impress ME?" Is this the kind of woman you want? One who is determined to make sure you're impressed? When I read OP's quote, it made me think that we should stop trying to impress them and just see if we get along, not forcing them to impress US. That's just me though. You go for whatever kind of woman you want.

I get so annoyed when people act all work has the same value. I kind of feel like this is a straw man. I've heard very few people suggest that all workers should make the same. It's all in the degree of compensation and presence of golden parachutes that I've seen debated. And for the record, I do think that 70-1 is too high. CEO's effort isn't worth that much more.

Mine was necessary when I was 5(around that age anyway). My penis was growing faster than my foreskin was and was site as hell. I remember crying about it to my mum loads. Got it done and I have 0 problems with it. I can certainly feel down there. So...you seem genuine, but this make no sense to me. First of all what does this mean? site as hell Is that autocorrect for sore? More importantly, circumcision is the removal of foreskin. If you didn't have enough foreskin because it wasn't growing fa…
