Sorry, I respectfully disagree with your statement. Getting married at 35 is NOT ideal for any woman, man? Fine, woman? No. This isn't some sexist thing (I am a female) but if OP were my daughter I would never advise her to wait until 35 for marriage, then start trying for kids at 37? Good luck with that, you can kiss your dream of being a mom goodbye. I have friends in their early 30's already struggling to conceive their 1st child, so yeah, if two people truly love each other then they should …

You're only 24, I wouldn't put so much pressure on him right now, you both are young. That being said, after another 2 years, you will have a clear picture where this relationship is headed. I do know girls that waited 7 years and eventually got their ring in their 30's, but, it seemed like the guy tried to find someone better and couldn't, so he "settled" for her, not to mention all the fertility issues they're now facing. I don't recommend you waiting that long, especially if having kids is im…

I have my post grad and definitely helped a lot with my dating life when I was younger, I met all my exes plus my current husband at the University I attended. I work a 6 figure job but I always put family first (child caring, cooking, etc.) as long as you don’t try to boss your man around, it should be a bonus that you’re smart/educated. Not to mention the genes will be passed down to your kids. You just have to be careful not to act masculine or overtake the household.

I'm not saying this is the case here, but a different perspective for you to think about. I had a friend who is in a similar situation, she always talked about how all the men she dated were garbage, none of her relationships lasted beyond a year, and that she was the kindest soul and did everything for these men. After getting to know her really well, I realized that she has the typical "martyr syndrome", she always focused on how much she gave, yet never took time to appreciate what others did…

Your concerns are valid, but let me tell you from my own experience. My husband and I were together for almost 3 years before having our son, and even then, it completely threw our relationship out the window (for a good year or two). It's been the biggest life changing experience, and we are both very level headed people before this. It doesn't mean it doesn't get better, because when it does get better, it is AMAZING, but it takes a lot of hard work to get to that point. You barely know each o…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
