Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts?Well, when a guy blows his nose on his t-shirt and puts it back on likes ots normal, the ick is justified. There ain't no coming back from that, no matter how good looking you are. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/04/24 12:47 AM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts? Not really. There was drinking involved in one. I was with him for 7 years and checked out for the last two, so by the time it ended it I was already over it. I wouldn't say the other ended badly, just our lives moving in different directions. The one I would possibly give another chance to tbf was very short, just a few months, so I don't even know if that should count as we didn't know each other long enough. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 10:39 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts?Yeah, I would completely agree with this. It is not one size fits all. It depends on how it ended, etc. There's one guy I would possibly give another chance to as the timing was wrong, I like having good memories. It's a shame most of them give me the ick, though. Oh, well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 10:18 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts?Yeah, it does. Literally saw an ex the other day. He was trying to be all flirty, and it was so awkward when he started to talk about the "good times." I wasn't into it in the slightest and made my excuses. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 10:14 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts?Yeah, I guess. I'm just speaking from experience. I checked out 2 years before I broke up officially with my ex. He drank way too much on the weekends and kept saying he'd stop. He'd stop for a few months, and then things would go back to the way they were. In hindsight, i shouldn't have let it drag out so long, but I kept remembering the good times and hoped we would get that back. By the time it was done, I wasn't even upset, I was relieved. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 10:10 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts? There's a reason attraction was lost. I think my exes are still objectively good-looking, but I also know there's a reason they are an ex. I don't see them as "ugly", I just don't find them attractive anymore. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 10:06 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts?Nah, everyone's different. Men are just hornier and have fewer morals when it comes to getting laid. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 10:01 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts? Not always. I think women check out before the relationship actually ends a lot of the time. The reason they stick around is because they hope the spark may come back. So when its done, the getting over it factor is mostly done. I wouldn't say men have a harder time getting over exes, though. I know plenty of women who grieved for way too long over an ex who had moved on a lot sooner. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 09:55 PM
Study shows men view their ex partners much more fondly than women do, matches up with my experience. What are your thoughts?Yeah, I'd agree with this. I'm not attracted to any of my exes anymore. A couple of them have tried to get back in there, but once I'm done, I'm DONE. The thought of being intimate with any of them gives me the ick. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/24 09:50 PM
