Read "When I Say No I Feel Guilty". In fact, read the sidebar.

Fogging is: "You're right, it would be frustrating to deal with someone like that." You never say it's you. You just validate the frustration that it would cause. Because she really does feel that way, even if it's a super unreasonable way to feel.

But here the standard advice is for a dude to run to the altar. Not just that one time.

I was an idiot kid and did nothing. When my vision started to go I asked my eye doctor and she blew me off. Asked again 6 months later and she reluctantly gave me a visual fields test. Couple weeks later had surgery and recovered most of my vision. Been on meds ever since.

You should do all those things, but not for a woman but for you. And no they don't take 80+ hours a week. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill to justify not trying. Quit crying and get to work. You're falling behind.

Fucking anything. Take care of stuff around your house. Work projects. Homework. Go out. Hit the gym. Get a fucking hobbie. You should have one anyway. Your comment sounds like you want him to solve your problem and entertain you. You can use your brain and think of something to do.

I had the exact same problem in college. Turned out I had a brain tumor. No joke. Insomnia isn't natural. Turn off the screens, get your hormones checked, talk to a shrink. In that order.

I'm taking an alternate position than the top commenters on this. Based on the prison comment, get over it. My guess is she was trying to poke a little fun at you and wanting you to return in kind, probably because she was getting wet from somewhere besides the shower head. When you didn't, she saw it as a demonstration of low value. That's why she's now talking over you. She's probably ovulating right now...and you're missing it being butt hurt. My take, lighten up and have more fun. Edit: lett…

That's something you are missing. Here and at the main sub we are unfiltered. We call each other out on our bullshit because it keeps us honest. According to trp, you might as well be a little boy as you haven't taken hold of being a man yet. This is all your fault just as my relationship problems are all my fault. No victim hood gets a pass here.

Not a shit test. Shit tests are her testing your frame, your willingness to stick to your true self. So far you have failed or your wouldn't be in this situation. I say this from experience. She continually tests you and will continue to. So will all other women in your life. Learn to beat them or stay unhappy.

If you let it, the red pill will change your life. You will be happier, healthier, and stronger than ever. The beginning of "No More Mr Nice Guy" speaks of a paradigm shift. After that book you will never view the world the same way again. You will be much closer to seeing the world as it actually is. You have been lied to your entire life about how to be a man and men's and women's roles. This journey will make you angry at those lies and the people who fed them to you. Your eyes will be open f…

Your post reeks of having not read the side bar. You say you've taken ownership yet, you do not understand your failure. I understand you think you do. I thought I did, but I stayed and learned I wasn't being a man and leadung my life and my wife. If you start then slowly you will understand. It's impossible just to explain it, you're not yet awake.

It shows you that your hat a covert contract, even if you didn't know it before. That's how I usually figure then out, after the fact. Then I correct for next time.

I love that you explain this as credibility instead of SMV. I think it gives a more realistic impression for new guys. Everyone already understands how long credibility can take to build.

That's the advice I needed before I got my finance degree, 100% would've gone accounting. But it's the same advice I give out now. 100% on point.

FYI, these principles helped me stop hating my job. I now have an active role in my work day and among my bosses. I hate them less now too. These things make me feel important at work...even if I'm not yet.

Don't know if this will be much help but I do the same thing. It helps me to remember that she doesn't know better. She's still plugged in and doesn't realise what she does. It seems to be mainly subconscious from her part. With that knowledge I can look at her more as the most responsible teenager instead of someone that SHOULD be more rational and responsible. Also, a lot of my anger doesn't come from that specific action that she does. It comes from the years of that action occurring. It's bu…

I think that shows his emotions on this. His wife just said she was getting boxes so he can move out and he's trying to hold frame but losing it underneath. Amused mastery is your friend right now buddy. Don't just say this stuff to her, believe it.

It's great that you do that in your house. But there's no need to derail the discussion to make you feel good about being the exception. That is why you got the down votes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
