Most women are not telling the full truth when it comes to the reasons they don't approach.I was recently out at a bar with a few friends, and one of the women in our group told me that she noticed a lot of cute guys there but she was afraid to talk to them because she thought she might not look good enough for them. I don’t know if it is the most common reason for women, but it is definitely a reason. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/11/25 03:32 PM
Chasing casual sex for men is more about ego than pleasure. If “a hole is a hole”, why wouldn’t they just stick with one person? Not sure about your particular friends, but the fact that men so often seem to be ready to move on after having sex with a woman once seems to indicate something more than just “a hole is a hole” or “just looking to get laid” mindset. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/10/25 08:06 PM
How are average looking men in this day and age supposed to meet women? But the question is whether dating apps work for the average man. The whole point of The League is to find people who are above average. You’re pre-selecting for picky women who care about traditional status markers. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/02/24 01:27 AM
How are average looking men in this day and age supposed to meet women? There’s a lot of selection bias there though. I wouldn’t expect data from an app that appeals to elitism to be representative of the wider population. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/24 09:06 PM
How are average looking men in this day and age supposed to meet women?I don’t think most women use race or height filters. On most apps you have to pay to use those filters. I have a 5’6” friend who has like 100 phone numbers of women from dating apps and an Indian friend who was going on four dates a week. Not denying those factors make it harder though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/02/24 07:56 PM

Men on this sub are probably below average which is why they are strugglingWhy would the average man more likely be tall than short? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/02/24 01:21 PM
How are average looking men in this day and age supposed to meet women?I know of several very active social groups that organize through Meetup, WhatsApp, and/or Discord. I’m an organizer of one that’s limited to people in their 20s and 30s. There’s plenty of demand for that sort of thing, at least in big cities. There are also activities like sports leagues and dance classes where you can meet people. Also I’m a fairly average looking guy (none of my pics score more than a 6 on Photofeeler), but I can still get dates from the apps. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/02/24 05:51 PM
this might be an unpopular opinion but dating the top 20% of men are overrated. Just get you an average man and live an average lifestyle. Dating the top 20% of men is not what its cracked up to beI doubt 1 in 5 men have women gushing over them everywhere they go. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/12/23 02:55 PM
When approaching women, its better to give them your number than to ask for theirs.Sending the first text to someone who approached you and gave you his number is throwing yourself at him? How do you know any man who gives you his number would be lackluster if you’ve never responded to a man who gave you his number? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/12/23 02:22 PM
Makeup is basically a pretence and a sign of insecurity. And no deodorant. Let people smell your natural scent. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/11/23 05:34 PM
Women are as creepy as men. Society just prefers to overlook their behavior.I think you’re right that there is overall far more sexual misconduct from men than women. But is it OK to interpret individual behaviors on that basis? For example, is it creepy when a man says he loves a child’s ears but not if a woman says it because men are more likely to be pedophiles? (I would say the definition of creepy is not sexual misconduct itself, but something that indicates that someone is inclined towards sexual misconduct.) | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/11/23 05:25 PM
Do adult men without social circles really have a chance?I found a great Meetup group in my late 30s. We basically use Meetup to funnel new people into a WhatsApp group where 90% of the activity occurs. Anyone can post something like “who wants to do X Saturday?” and they’ll get at least a handful of people who will come out and do it with them. It’s the best social life I’ve ever had. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/11/23 01:01 PM
Most guys who struggle in dating struggle because they don't have a social life. How do you know what the chance is before you ask? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/10/23 03:19 AM
Women have zero tolerance policy for even slightly socially awkward menI think it depends what kind of social awkwardness it is. Someone who is shy (quiet, not good at making eye contact) probably won’t come across as creepy. Someone who can’t take a hint the woman isn’t interested probably will come across as creepy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/10/23 06:00 PM
| – | GrannyfishBullshit. You talked to over 500 people in 1 week? Hinge doesn’t even let you send more than 6 likes in a day. Show us the screenshots for the profile and some of the conversations. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/10/23 03:51 AM |
The reason why tall men are seen as more attractive is because height is a wealth signifierAre you suggesting this is an unconscious biological preference that evolved over thousands of years or a socially learned response? If the former, I don’t think “wealth” was really a thing for most of human existence. If the latter, I think there are a lot better signifiers of wealth, like styles of clothing or manners of speaking. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/10/23 03:33 AM
Guy approaches young woman in a viral video, gets rejected with news headlines calling him a "creep"That’s a library? He mentions a pool and the background looks like a hotel. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/10/23 04:51 PM
Women aren't attracted to confidence, they hate confidence in men they don't find attractiveI think there are two things that people call confidence. One is when someone is certain that they will succeed and everyone will like them. The other is when someone isn’t bothered by failure and doesn’t care whether people will like them. The first indeed will be a turn off when someone otherwise unattractive acts that way, but the second type I think would make anyone more attractive. It requires being vulnerable, not being cocky. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/09/23 03:51 AM
Most of the arguments against Age Gap Relationships are TerribleI don’t think most women are aware of that phenomenon, assuming it’s as common as you say. I certainly don’t hear unattractive men complaining about hot women hitting on them or vowing that they won’t date a hot woman again. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/09/23 07:11 PM
Most of the arguments against Age Gap Relationships are TerribleI think what they probably mean is that it’s not always toxic, but it’s a lot more likely to be toxic than a non-age gap relationship. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/09/23 03:24 PM
Q4M: If “settling” is bad, why should women “lower their standards” and “be less selective/picky”?So settling would be like if I take a 6 but I still think I’m an 8 and just don’t understand why only 6’s are interested in me? Like I can’t do better, but I feel like I deserve better? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/23 04:29 PM
Q4M: If “settling” is bad, why should women “lower their standards” and “be less selective/picky”?But it sounded like you were saying if they forgo something better because of reality they were just lowering their standards and not settling. Or did I misunderstand? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/23 03:35 PM
Q4M: If “settling” is bad, why should women “lower their standards” and “be less selective/picky”?What motivates someone to settle if they could realistically get something better? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/08/23 01:31 PM
Arguments against Paternity Test at Birth are WILDI don’t think they have accessed the 23AndMe or Ancestry databases. They’ve only done so for smaller companies that have chosen to cooperate. And even when they do use genealogy databases, they’re only doing what a normal customer does. They’re not being granted access to hidden data, they’re being granted access to upload data. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/23 03:51 AM
Arguments against Paternity Test at Birth are WILDI don’t know. Are paternity tests currently stored in a database? Is the government accessing them? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/23 03:26 AM
Arguments against Paternity Test at Birth are WILDBut my understanding of the OP is that they are arguing for testing without maintaining a database. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/04/23 09:58 PM
Guys are not unattractive because they're insecure, they are insecure because they're unattractive. I feel like this is a common misconception.Being attractive probably helps develop confidence, but it’s not automatic. There was a point in my childhood where it seemed almost every girl had a crush on me, but I was shy AF. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/01/23 04:31 PM
Insecure women can still get into relationships, but insecure men will almost never get into one.Rivalry seems to be part of the standard definitions. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/01/23 10:47 PM
A lot of you people don't understand what personality isYes, my ex actually said she found my shyness attractive. The problem is, as you said, it’s normally quiet women that like quiet men, so it can be difficult to find out that you like each other. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/22 10:14 PM
The reasons women show for not wanting to date a bisexual man are pretty similar to the reasons behind not wanting to date a high N woman. But somehow only the second case is sexist.I would have thought the view that sexual orientation was changeable was fairly common among conservatives. Doesn’t the whole uproar over “grooming” depend on such a belief? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/22 06:04 PM
Why is being awkward and nervous seen as creepy by women?Maybe try telling them that you are nervous so they will know how to interpret your behavior. | /r/seduction | 03/08/22 08:06 PM
