I wonder if you could change your tactics for how you are giving oral if what you're doing now makes you feel so disconnected? Like, do you ever watch his expression and see how he looks at you while you're doing that for him? Or pause during to look up at him if you're uncomfortable looking at him while giving? For me, I love giving but hate receiving. Hate receiving because of just being self conscious, but love giving because I love making my husband feel good. It turns me on to turn him on! …

RPW tends to embrace traditional gender roles which is a huge NO for more “mainstream” subs. I think this is a lot of it against RPW specifically. I find happiness in caring for my husband, son, and house (as much as I can around a full-time job and the depression I'm working through). I can recognize that might not be true for all women, but I think there's a lot of shame in the mainstream towards women for whom that is true. I didn't recognize it in myself until recently when I started looking…

Thank you for that! That's definitely my plan :) I've always been a bit of a tomboy, and I'm a gamer, and my husband definitely likes those things about me. It'd be pretty disappointing for him if I tried to go ultra-feminine (and unnatural for me!), but I think taking care of our house and him will only help! And I mostly defer to him in things anyway. Just trying to change my habits and mindset, and so far that feels good.

I am still VERY new at this and figuring out how RP fits for my relationship with my husband and my son. I had kind of an epiphany last week that my depression was worst during the work week, and I felt the best after spending the day taking care of my son on the weekend. I'm happiest when my husband is eating a meal I cooked and tells me how good it is. I feel the most accomplished and energetic when I've taken care of something around the house. I started trying to find a community to empower …

Once I stopped taking it as rejection (early in our relationship thankfully!) it helped a lot. He gives me plenty of physical affection that isn't sexual. Without that it might be an issue, but he definitely makes sure I feel loved. I got a good one! Haha :)

My husband and I are one of those odd couples where generally my sex drive is higher than his. This doesn't mean that every time he does want it I do, but usually... I do haha! If I don't feel up to it he is understanding, but that is pretty rare for us. I am content despite my higher sex drive to take care of myself so to speak when he isn't up for it, and I know after 5 years together (and 1 married) that if I try to initiate when he isn't in the mood, it just makes him upset. He will feel lik…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
