Fit and well groomed is probably an Automatic 4/10 at least. very disfigured or our or extremely out of shape people have managed to find amazing love. I am sure there are loads of women out there who cares about what is on the inside more. There will be more and more as they get older and wiser as well. Just keep working on what is on the inside. You can not compare yourself though. Someone always has it worse. You are a 26 year old virgin, but some 80 year old virgin could read your post and t…

I deleted all the photos from my phone and social media but first I put them all in a file on my computer so they won't be lost forever. Because I knew a lot of them had my kids in them and even if I didn't want to see them now I might want to see them later.

I think if you go in with low expectations then it's a win. If you're happy at the idea of the bare minimal happening and ecstatic about anything else then there's no way you lose. Just be smart.

I think first and foremost you just need to set a financial budget that is strict, and say that that is very important to you and a deal breaker. if you hold firm on the budget then she's going to want to work to make money so she can spend more. As far as chores go, I think that's a losing battle. Couples Therapy might help. I just try to focus mostly on myself and finding joy out of house work and let her do her. It is all relative. Compared to some people she might be an all star and compared…

Did she get a boob job? Was that the surgery? My wife got a boob job and left me the moment she recovered with a pathetic version of me as well. Move on. We are better off.

I am hopeful, but still very early in the divorce process. I have no plans of getting ugly with it but plenty of time for her and her lawer to change her tune. Then it might be difficult for me to want that.

I regret helping my wife move. Made me feel like more shit knowing that I still am doing more for her in her life than anyone else is and yet she's willing to stab me in the back and absolutely obliterate my heart.

Story as old as time I guess! I just can't fathom doing this but sound like it is pretty common and what my wife and many other wifes have been doing for years.

God damn! I am right there with you! Rough stuff. Feel like we would be better off if we could just convince ourselves they are evil and unsolvable like they have done towards us.

Try theropy yet? Make sure you really spell it out for her. So she knows the severity of your unhappiness and that a huge shift needs to happen for that to change and you NEED THAT. Tell her you'll be patient but you need to see continual progress and sincere attempts. No one deserves to give so much for someone who can't respond with love. I'M NOT A LICENSED THERAPIST, but these were my first thoughts.

Thing are moving fast. She moved out within a week and now a man is already over staying with her for the holidays. Just trying to remind myself that I am the winner in this.

You are me 7 days ago. It's been rough but the last few days have gotten a little better. I'm sure I'll have rough days to come as well. Just got a puppy. A little lap dog that I carry around with me everywhere. Think about puppies is they don't mind if you cling to them when you are anxious. They enjoy it. It has been really nice. Me and the wife had the same stories you. She's always been someone who wants the stuff she can't have and I was just too damn available.

Why do you also suggest not to live with someone? Are there laws that can also make that also messy? Just curious. Going through my first divorce now and not looking to make similar mistakes in the future.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
