Honestly I feel like any man that says that line, "Well to play the devil's advocate...", is honestly just trying to push the views they secretly agree with with on to someone who doesn't agree with them. The men who are so specific in there 'devils advocate' are secretly trying to judge your reaction to what they're saying and seeing how far you'll agree with them.

Wow, the eating one hit me like a slap in the face. I literally couldn't eat certain foods around my ex because he would just freak out and say I was eating to loud. I wasn't, of course, but it's crazy to think I actually put up with some fucking dude telling me how to eat my fucking food.

Man this really makes me want a sword. This is truly a HVM, a LMV would have either; A) Not have paid attention at all and got her nothing. B) Try to make the achievement all about him. C) Would have bought a "sword" as a joke item, like a toy, as a ha ha moment. But this man went out of his way to not only listen, but he knew it was something she cared about/was interested in so he went for the real deal. That's amazing.

I absolutely hate how it's always the women who have to work on communication and never the men. She was communicating with him and he pretty much ignored it all. I remember one of my ex's cheated on me...then a few months later he started putting moves on me again even though we both knew he had a girlfriend. I decided to be the bigger person an earn his current girlfriend and she pretty much accused me of trying to steal him away. It might be passive aggressive but I find that a lot of men think women are some sort of coin machine. Drop compliments in and sex comes out.
