Listen man, there's nothing wrong with liking the South. I'm sure it feels good to live there and have no intellectual or cultural competition whatsoever. You get to be a big fish in a little pond and get an artificial boost to your ego. I'm sure that feels nice. You have to understand though that not every is like you, some people actually enjoy challenging themselves and living in a place that is forward thinking.
